Tough to find celebration coverage of the Bruins win.. all the news is reporting is the "potential" for a disturbance in the streets of Boston and that "at least two people have been arrested" god, I hate the news.

The lesser of two evils won the Cup. Yeah, pretty much. Which is why I've been saying crisis averted. On a side note, now that the season's over, what do us hockey F.A.Ners do now? I hear there's a flash NHL 94 out there.

110 days till the season returns. It'll be a boring summer, so I guess I have to try and be a fan of baseball now.

To repeat what PB said: 110 days till next season? Awww crap. Guess I'll catch up on some reading now. Sigh. God I am going to miss Hockey.
Some of those fans tossing bottles on the ice during the ceremony was really low class. I know you're pissed but that's a pretty crappy thing to do.
Well congrats to the Bruins fans and to Thomas and Julien. Especially Thomas. The rest of the team....ah nevermind for now.
So, I wonder if Alain Vigneault's job is on the line. I know he got them to the Final, but he wasn't able to get them going. They also need to get a new goalie coach.

Apparently some one out in the riots fell and died and they're trashing cars and burning Canucks paraphernalia in bonfires on the streets.

If Thomas continues to play good both season and play-off wise we may have the newest Dryden/Roy/Brodeur on our hands here.

Don't call the rioters in Boston/Vancouver "fans", to be honest.

Don't call the rioters in Boston/Vancouver "fans", to be honest. My question for the fans of Vancouver is: Didn't you learn anything from the 94 riots? Also, rioting because you won is the dumbest thing you can do when your team wins the championship.

Good Lord, Vancouver. I know you're all upset about losing, BUT IT'S JUST A f***ING GAME. Don't go all rioting and setting firing and trashing things like, ah, a Michael Bay movie was just released or something. I know they take hockey...quite seriously over there, but it's just awful.

Great job by the Boston Bruins that is undermined by a bunch of idiots who don't know how to celebrate/mourn. Good job to Timmy and to Patrice Bergeron who I was personally rooting for all the way. So happy to see this happen - the team that deserved to win won in the end, and that is all that matters

While it's good to see ex-Maple Leaf Tomas Kaberle end up with a Stanley Cup, I'm glad that a hard-working goalie like Tim Thomas get his due with helping his team to the Cup, as well as the Conn Smythe.
