UPDATE ON TNA'S NEW INDIA PROJECT by Mike Johnson @ 2:39 PM on 11/23/2011
The new TNA brand that will be taped in India and broadcast there over the Colors Network will have its first set of tapings in mid-December.
I am told that some talents have started to be quietly signed for the project but haven't confirmed any names yet.
This is the new project we wrote about a few weeks back being headed by Jeff Jarrett that Dutch Mantel, Dave Lagana and Rudy Charles will be working on. The TNA letters will not be used for the project.

Why even start a brand in India in the first place? Stay home and focus on the main product before branching out!

Why even start a brand in India in the first place? Stay home and focus on the main product before branching out! To be fair, Colors is paying TNA to put together the show.

It is something outside the box, I'll give them that.
Although I agree that making TNA stronger internationally should be there make focus.

Hey if the Colors Network is paying full for it I dont see anything wrong with branching out, this seems interesting.

Considering it's not using the name or the currently active talent aside from Jeff Jarrett and being a different thing apart from TNA, it's not a big deal.

Borash said on F4W that it'll mostly be Indian wrestlers, but there will be some TNA talent involved.

I'd laugh my ass off if Morrison somehow inadvertently signed on to work for the India promotion.
