ROH announced it will be filming stuff to air on the TV show this weekend in the Carolina's.
Wonder if that means promos, or actual matches (cuz won't there be a few weeks that they didn't film for at the last tapings?) Anyway, I'm intriguied.

NOVEMBER 29TH NEWSWIRE- The “Battle in the Carolinas” is approaching and Ring of Honor is gearing up for “Southern Defiance” in Spartanburg, SC this Saturday night & “Northern Aggression” in Greensboro, NC this Sunday afternoon! Our TV camera crew will be on hand this weekend to shoot footage from both Greensboro and Spartanburg that will air as part of our weekly “Ring of Honor Wrestling” television broadcasts! It will be a big weekend for ROH and all of the fans who attend the events live. - This Saturday, December 3rd we will debut at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium with a 7:30 PM belltime and the wind up will be a HUGE 20 Man Over the Top Rope Interval Battle Royal featuring the top stars in ROH competing and entering the fray every minute until one only man is left standing. That sole survivor will receive a guaranteed shot at the ROH World Championship sometime in early 2012. Also, in what could easily steal the show, Eddie Edwards will battle El Generico in singles competition for the very first time in ROH! The House of Truth enters The Proving Ground as Roderick Strong & Michael Elgin battle Haas and Benjamin in pursuit of a future Tag Title opportunity and also in the Proving Ground, TJ Perkins takes on ROH World TV Champion Jay Lethal! Expect much more including a bout announced today pitting “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett vs. Adam Cole. Also, don’t forget that prior to the live event in Spartanburg there will be a special meet and greet with former ROH World & Tag Champion Roderick Strong and 6-time former ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay & Mark Briscoe! Tickets are available at www.Ticketmaster.com! - This Sunday, December 4th we will present a special matinee event at the Greensboro Coliseum Event Center with a 4:00 pm belltime and Ring of Honor will feature a match that will go down in wrestling history. An All-Star 8 man Elimination Tag Match with ROH World Tag Champions Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin), “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards, and El Generico vs. Mark & Jay Briscoe, Roderick Strong and "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin! This match will be contested under elimination rules with a TWO HOUR TIME LIMIT! The undercard is full of fresh match ups with ROH World TV Champion Jay Lethal taking on Adam Cole in The Proving Ground. Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman facing The Young Bucks and announced today, “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett will face TJ Perkins. Expect much more including a special meet and greet prior to the event with Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas), "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards, and El Generico. 8 X 10 Photos will be available to purchase at the show! Tickets are available at www.Ticketmaster.com! - The latest episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” is now available here for all Ringside Members! This episode features a ROH World TV Title rematch between champion Jay Lethal and the man he beat for the belt, El Generico. During the bout “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett and Brutal Bob came to the ringside area to observe the match up close. Controversy ensued with the time limit expiring leaving both Generico and Lethal furious at Bennett. Bennett claims that he is the “real” ROH TV Champion based off of what happened in his time limit draw with Jay Lethal recently on “Ring of Honor Wrestling.” Bennett says that he had Lethal beat as he was destroying him with mounted punches and hammer fists but paused to ask the referee to stop the match. This momentary hesitation was all Lethal needed to turn Bennett over and rain with blows until the time limit ran out. Bennett’s argument is not very valid and Lethal is more then prepared to give Bennett a rematch and get even with Bennett for spoiling his latest title defense. In addition, Generico has a score to settle with Bennett and his pursuit to regain the ROH TV title is far from over. - To witness footage of Eddie Edwards training for Final Battle with UFC legend Dan “The Beast” Severn check out the latest episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling.” - Also on the latest episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” Jim Cornette announced a settlement offer for Kevin Steen to make this whole “situation” go away. Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs apparently approached Cornette with an idea and talked Cornette out of a counter lawsuit. Cornette has offered Steen and his lawyer the chance to meet him, Corino, and Jacobs in the ring next week on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” to present the proposal. It has been a long time since that name, the name of Kevin Steen, has been mentioned on ROHWrestling.com but in light of recent events, it has been determined by ROH officials that the time has come to address the situation directly. To view an article detailing the Kevin Steen situation with full disclosure click here. - In the latest ROH Video Wire embedded above you will see footage of the match between El Generico and Steve Corino from “Survival of the Fittest 2011.” Prior to going into the bout, Corino said that thanks to Jacobs help, he has accepted the things he cannot change and he has the courage to face Generico like a man in a battle of true competition. Corino said he wanted Generico to not hold anything back and to get all of his past aggression out. When Corino originally walked to the ring he looked nervous but Jacobs gave him a motivational pep talk that changed his demeanor. Throughout the match Generico gave Corino plenty of opportunities to resort back to his old ways and cheat. Corino wrestled the entire match honorably and by abiding all of the rules. The match eventually became a test of Corino’s endurance and heart as he suffered a shoulder injury before kicking out of 2 brainbusters and going the time limit. Corino went through hell surviving his biggest test since being on the road to recovery. After the match, Generico offered his hand to Corino and he accepted. Generico became the first man to support Corino besides Jacobs. A huge moment in the life of Steve Corino after everything he has done to Generico in the past. - Lancelot and Harlem Bravado are looking to impress on their home turf in the Carolina’s over the weekend. Both men have had a very unimpressive record and ROH officials have taken notice recently. Officials have informed the Bravados that if they don’t rack up more wins soon that it could result in an extended hiatus.

{Spoiler}I still say the Steen/Corino match at Final Battle winds up being a fingerpoke of doom situation with Corino and Jacobs turning heel in the process.

wouldnt doubt it. i was hoping for something different where neither Jacobs or Corino turns but your idea makes a lot of sense. maybe after that Homicide or someone else of decent quality comes out for a match with Steen.

A MyNetwork affiliate in Florida is airing what I'm believing to be ALL of the Sinclair-era shows so far over a two night span on 12/30 and 12/31. I say this because it's possible that some of the other affiliates may do the same, and if so, that's pretty damn cool for those who missed the episodes the first go-around.

Ring of Honor may soon be rivaling WWE and TNA in the TV stakes with its own women’s division, reveals Queen of Wrestling, Sara Del Rey.
Speaking to Diva Dirt exclusively on last night’s episode of DD360, Sara spoke about her current status with ROH and recent discussions with the company, including the prospect of a new Women of Honor division next year as part of ROH’s new TV show under the Sinclair Broadcast Group banner.
Sinclair bought Ring of Honor earlier this year and launched a new ROH TV show in September, following the company’s departure from HDNet in April.
Following the move to Sinclair, Sara was surprised to find herself excluded from the roster page on ROHwrestling.com (the only female listed is Mia Yim), and tells us that her status with the company is up in the air at the moment.
She says: “I’d like to know as well! [Laughs] I have no idea. Once the Kings of Wrestling left, I understood I wasn’t going to be used for all the shows because mainly I was used in a managerial role. I knew that my presence would be limited in Ring of Honor. I think when I went to Japan a few months ago, I came back and I saw the new website and I was like, ‘Wow, that looks great!’ and then I went to the roster page and I was like, ‘Woah!’ It was just kind of a shock [to not see herself on there].”
The first ever SHIMMER Champion also reveals the exciting news that ROH may be launching a women’s division and have expressed interest in bringing her back.
The previous ROH on HDNet series featured the occasional women’s match, but a full-fledged women’s division never came to fruition.
Sara says: “Right now, they’re really starting from scratch again just re-establishing the brand and the product with Sinclair. I’ve talked to them recently and they have hopes to start the women’s division up hopefully next year sometime, and they definitely want to include me.”

Lethal vs. Generico vs. Bennett in an elimination match for the TV Title at Final Battle. Ah crap, Bennett's winning the belt and fulfilling the promise he made earlier this year.

Results from Greensboro, NC...
All of the ROH talent came to ringside for a Bison Smith tribute.
1. Mike "The Prodigy" Bennett beat T.J. Perkins. Bennett won the match by grabbing the ropes on a dirty pin.
The Bravado Brothers made their entrance, and then The All Night Express made their entrance for the tag match. The Young Bucks attacked ANX from behind and left Rhett Titus lying with a chair shot to the leg. Titus was unable to compete, so he asked the crowd to pick a partner for Kenny King. The Bravados rejected that idea, so it appears to be a handicap match.
2. The All Night Express defeated The Bravado Brothers. It started as a handicap match with Titus backstage, but he limped out and took the hot tag. ANX won with their version of the Doomsday Device.
3. Jay Lethal defeated Adam Cole in a Proving Ground match. Cole hit a dangerous looking German suplex on the edge of the ring. Lethal came back with Lethal Injection and got the win.
It was announced that the official after party will be held at Hooters, which is a sponsor for the show.
4. The Young Bucks beat Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman. The Bucks won after a combo piledriver. Coleman sold big.
Intermission. There was a lengthy delay that may have been production related.
5. Andy Ridge beat Sampson. Ridge bled from the nose at one point. He got the win with a roll down sunset flip.
Jim Cornette and Kevin Kelly did an in-ring appearance with the manager of the local SBG affiliate. They recorded an interview, presumably for local television.
6. Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Eddie Edwards, and El Generico vs. Mark Briscoe, Jay Briscoe, Roderick Strong, and Michael Elgin in an elimination match with a two-hour time limit. The heel Briscoes came out to a giant pop. They received the best reaction of the night thus far. Generico's pop was almost as big. Good reactions for the other babyfaces.
The crowd is chanting "Man Up." How are the Briscoes heels?
24 minutes in and it was total pandemonium. At the 30 minute mark, the referee ordered Benjamin and Jay Briscoe into the ring or threatened that they would be disqualified. Shore's over/under on the match is one hour and 40 minutes at this point since there have not been any eliminations. The babyfaces did a ten-punch bit on the heels in each of the four corners.
Shelton Benjamin was eliminated by Jay Briscoe 47 minutes in.
Mark Briscoe was eliminated via an Angle Slam from Haas roughly 48 minutes in.
Charlie Haas was eliminated by Strong via rollup. Haas hit Jay Briscoe with a chair on his way out.
Jay Briscoe was eliminated via brainbuster from Generico. The crowd is starting to thin in the section nearest the exits, but those who stuck around are still pretty hot.
El Generico was eliminated by Michael Elgin with a spinning powerbomb.
Michael Elgin was eliminated by Eddie Edwards via rollup at one-hour-and-14 minutes. The match is down to Edwards and Strong. The crowd is ready for the finish. Strong put Edwards through a table on the floor from the second rope. The crowd got right back into the match.
Roderick Strong was eliminated when Eddie Edwards forced him to tap one hour and 20 minutes into the match. Edwards was the lone survivor and won the match for his team.
