Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! Sorry for the re-post, but I cannot move on until a winner is declared. Luckily, the patient ones of you stuck around to make it happen, and I appreciate it. Guile advances with a narrow margin of six to five total votes. We can now move forward with todays wacky match!
Help me find out who the most awesome/badass character/person of all time is!
How would one accomplish such a task? Why by pitting every awesome and/or badass person/character/historical figure in a 512-person bracket style tournament that leaves only one person standing in the end. Who will it be? You will decide.
There is no voting criteria. You can vote for a participant based on whatever you please. If you feel that person would be the victor in a fist fight, or if you think they're more badass, more epic, have better hair, or if you just like one better than the other. It's completely up to you, the voter. I want people to have fun with this, and perhaps imagine the two participants squaring off face to face.
Today we have our first appearance by a footbal coach, and perhaps the only appearance by a coach period. I think most would agree that if I did pick a coach, it would be one of the most famous faces in football history. The man has the freakin' Super Bowl trohpy named after him for crying out loud. Of course, the man I'm speaking of is Vince Lombardi. The man he's taking on? Why the title character of his own show, the most resourceful man in fiction, MacGyver. I'll bet the lot of you didn't know his first name was Angus. But what you all probably know is his ability to turn two q-tips and a roll of duct tape into a nucelar device. It's true, but can he conjure up a gadget out of household materials powerful enough to stop Vince Lombardi? We shall see.
