Not much to discuss. Am I supposed to say, "No god no" or "I've lost all faith in humanity"? I'm not a fan of his work, but good for him.

Yea I was counting on that here. It's not a super shock I don't suppose. i have no idea how many shows he has, I just don't dig his work and think there's much better out there, but they're not paying based on that

See kids. If you dress like a woman, one day you too could be the highest paid male entertainer.

So Forbes Magazine, in conjunction with Tyler Perry productions, releases Tyler Perry's Entertainment's Highest Paid Man, starring Tyler Perry as Tyler Perry, featuring Tyler Perry.
Surprising.

Let's be fair here though, a LOT of this has to do with the fact that He's cranking out 2 (At least) TV series, at LEAST 1 if not 2 theatrical releases, and at least 2 Film versions of his stage plays every year or so. It's not like he's doing nothing or making ALL hs money off of a single epic picture every 5-7 years or so.

I guess what's more surprising to me than Perry is that Tiger Woods is still in the top 10, even thought he hasn't won now in 2 years and people thinking the affair would crush him. Dude still makes a s*** ton in endorsements.

Tyler Perry flicks are basically Twilight for older women.
But who the hell is watching House of Payne? I'm sorry but there is just no redeeming quality to that show. Even my mom, who loves everything TP does, went out of her way to call it offensive and minstrel-ish.

Well, he's on some Haim Saban shit when it comes to exactly how he cranks out his product. It's all knocked out assembly line style. His actors get the scripts 20 minutes before shooting and do each shot at a location in a single shoot. That's why the A stories and B stories on his shows never impact each other.
He's a smart, shrewd businessman. While I like the Madea character, and that he's giving legitimate parts for minority actors, I'm not a fan of his work at all.
It did give us this though:
