I like it!
For those of you who don't know, there's going to be an official soundtrack for the game. The album comes out on October 4th, and you can also get the album for free if you pick up the Collector's Edition of the game.
1. Panic! At The Disco - Mercenary 2. Coheed and Cambria - Deranged 3. The Duke Spirit - Creature 4. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Shadow On The Run 5. Blaqk Audio - Afterdark 6. The Raveonettes - Oh, Stranger 7. ††† (Crosses) - The Years 8. The Damned Things – Trophy Widow 9. Daughtry - Drown In You 10. The Boxer Rebellion - Losing You 11. Serj Tankian - Total Paranoia

Very catchy - glad I'm getting the collector's edition if that's what the music on that album is like. But it loses in being the best Joker song due to not having the line, "Livin' la vida Joker!"
Seriously though, yeah, awesome song.

Yeah, the lyric "Pretty Little Enemy" is a pretty rad shout out to Catwoman being a bigger figure in the new game.
I think it's kind of badass how it kind of just plays up his delusions in the song. This game is gonna be so much fun, it's not even funny. Hahah.

You know what that reminded me of?
Those VHS soundtrack previews from the Batman films.
I don't know about everyone else, but those made the movies for me just as much, so this song just gave me a HUGE nostalgia rush. I'm so, so pumped for this game! ;D

Haven't heard the song, nor am I fan of this band, but I really hope this game doesn't feature music like this on it's in-game soundtrack..
Gah.... just heard the song. Doesn't fit a game like this at all...

Yeah, it's music 'inspired' by the game but won't actually feature in the game. Well maybe one of the songs might play over the credits, but that'd be it I say.

I pre-ordered the collector's edition myself, and I would have preferred the in-game music to a collection of songs that don't even fit a game it's supposedly inspired by. Either way, still pumped up for this game...

If the lyrics really are based off of the game's story like they are promoting...makes the rumors of the Joker's death in the game seem more likely.

Perhaps a Batman-related video in the works or something. It's been a while since Coheed had a single on the charts, so this would work.

Just listened to it a couple of hours ago and I really enjoyed it. I would've loved to have heard some more melodic guitar soloing, however, the song is great as it is still and fits the character of the Joker.
I hope Coheed puts this song as an extra on a new album too.

For those who don't know, I am a HUGE Coheed fan, and overall, I enjoy this song. In fact, it's better than the entire Year of the Black Rainbow album.
That said, I absolutely LOATHE Chris Pennie's playing. He always seems to be trying too hard, and his drums never find a groove or pocket. This song would be a million times better if Josh Eppard or Taylor Hawkins had played on it. Chris Pennie just....sucks.

I'm not really a fan of the industrial sound he brings, though. On its own, his drumming would be impressive but it doesn't mesh too well with Coheed's sound IMO. I still think this song is great, however.
