He hasn't been on in awhile as far as I know. Is he injured, or do they just not have anything for him to do at the moment?

'What happened to Mr. Anderson?' =
Yo-yo booking buried his career.

Also there's the fact that you can only go so far with being a Stone Cold-lite without getting stale, esp. if you let yourself go a little.

Even as someone who generally cannot stand Anderson, I find it frustrating that he can go from the focal point of the show to a complete afterthought weeks later. It's like TNA really has no idea what they're doing.

Being possibly the biggest Anderson fan here, I've been annoyed with their lack of doing anything with him. I will say though, the main event has been booked well. The lack of TNA doing anything with him tells me they don't want to push him down the card.

'What happened to Mr. Anderson?' = Yo-yo booking buried his career. Ding ding ding. The face-heel-face turn in the span of a few months didn't help matters either.

'What happened to Mr. Anderson?' = Yo-yo booking buried his career. Ding ding ding. The heel-face-heel-tweener-face-heel-face turn in the span of a few months weeks didn't help matters either. Fixed.

In all honesty, it might be for the best. Some time off could give his character time to recover from the yo-yo booking of TNA and I can't say I really miss him.

He got Ahmed Johnson-ed......to have him fight a heel group, and then JOIN that heel group, only to be unceremoniously booted out a few weeks later.......yeah, it stole any momentum as a face he ever had.
I love when bookers/the office act like their booking decisions have NO impact on how over or not a wrestler is......B.S. What happened to Mr. Anderson is a prime example of Yo Yo booking at its absolute WORST.

The only good thing Anderson was involved with this year was his awesome street fight match with Bully Ray

Even as someone who generally cannot stand Anderson, I find it frustrating that he can go from the focal point of the show to a complete afterthought weeks later. It's like TNA really has no idea what they're doing. Or it's just that there has been a change of head booker, which means a change of focus in the company's booking, and a semi-reboot of some, if not all storylines.. Seriously, when Anderson was everywhere on the show, the only thing you would hear and read is how much Anderson sucked as a character, how much he was a rip-off of Stone Cold, only lamer, how much his Asshole gimmick (which was his own invention) was annoying, and how much he was starting to let himself go. But now that he's gone, suddenly, it's the booking thats solely responsible for his problems ? I don't buy it. Even if Anderson had had a solid booking, people would still complain about his Asshole character, and the fact that it quickly grew stale. Hopefully, this break will allow him to come back more motivated & inspired than ever.

TNA finally realized that he sucks something fierce I still contend that Anderson was a great sadistic heel when he first debuted back in 2010 against Kurt Angle.

He was great when he was feuding with Angle last year. That the Anderson he should always been. Not the Stone Cold lite BS. Now he fell of the ladder. TNA is bad with that. Look how long it took the golden boy AJ styles to get a title shot. Wasn't his match against Roode like his first since lossing the rematch against RVD.
How you miss book AJ Styles the golden boy? Yet he was only used to put over Roode. So Jeff hardy can get a shot? Really?
