I love the old story about how when he was in TNA he told his girlfriend at the time, Daffney, they weren't interested in hiring her and not to come down to Nashville. She makes some enquires, finds out they ARE in fact open to hiring her, she goes down there and finds him shacked up with Traci Brooks. Yep. He's such a nice fella. I imagine it was much the same with Beth, where she found out he broke up with her after he rolled out of bed with Lita... I sincerely doubt this since they are openly friendly with each other and he still hangs out with her in Atlanta on his own volition.

In other news some guy complains about his last relationship that ended badly to the media. It's no different then us making a thread about in off topic. Like all relationship bad break ups there always seems to be two different exaggerated stories of what happened where everyone was the bad guy but you.

At the end of the full interview: "yeah she whined a lot" Classy. Not very mature at all.

In all honesty, for all we know, what he said about this person, whoever it is, could be right on the money. We don't know, we weren't there. That is why it's premature to judge him based off one vague comment about a past relationship that, in all fairness, he was drawn into by these annoying clowns on this station. The only thing you can say about punk is he played into their game way too easily.

I am not listening to the video because I'm so lazy and I simply don't care or "speculate" about wrestlers' personal lives, especially when it comes to relationships. *cough*Unlike some certain posters here*cough*
If Punk actually is referring to Beth here, he truly is a professional person. I'm sure it's hard enough getting out of a relationship when your former partner works on the same brand and then you begin trashing them for no reason.

I'm talking from the posts I've seen in this topic. Anyway, there's always two sides to a story. I really don't wanna continue "speculating" about this because this is wrestling, not some god awful celebrity TMZ show. And I agree with what The Tee Why said. I'm a fan of what a person is like in the show, not outside of the business.

Classy. Not very mature at all. Sorry, can't hear you from your high horse. I said "CLASSY. NOT VERY MATURE AT ALL." better? And I like the guy, he's one of my favorites. Just because I like him doesn't mean I have to say everything he says is hunky dory. Oh no! I passed judgement on something he said in an interview! My thoughts exactly.

Wow, he actually doesn't come across as bad as the title of the thread/video made it sound at all. This is pretty tame, he just expresses mild annoyance with what was probably a bad match for both parties, and remains pretty vague the whole time.
All this made it sound like he was gonna trash Beth by name, air dirty laundry and talk about all the women he's banging now.
Why are we assuming he's the bad guy again?

Countdown to this thread being locked.... People tend to make it so transparent.
Personally, I think plenty of people are dicks outside of the ring but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them. At the same time, though, there's no particular way of knowing whether or not what Punk said is warranted. Though he should still have held his tongue if only because it's just going to make things awkward and possibly reflect badly on him in the process.

Also, are we 100% sure he's even talking about Beth? He never mentions her name, and if they split in August, it didn't "just" end, like Punk said.

Punk actually did handle it well, though. He never said her name, and he mentioned everything in vague passing. He only even brought it up when they mentioned his relationship status.
One of the guys joked that [the girl] asked him for an autograph, and that's why the relationship ended. So he said "nah she just whined a lot" and that was that.

I think every member of the IWC would simultaneously cream themselves if that happened--and then never log onto a wrestling forum again because there'd be nothing left to complain about. Kinda like what happened for a week after DB and CM Punk were both world champions. I couldn't think of anything to bitch about anymore...I felt so...empty.

Hmmm, not as bad as I was expecting I guess. Those radio show guys really are desperate to get their interviewees to say something controversial though aren't they? Could have been handled better, but they did really drag him into it.
