I never really cared who's sleeping with who, so to me this is irrelevant and really pointless. Gossip is for teenage girls, I know people have said Punk isn't exactly the nicest person in real life, but neither are a lot of people.
People getting shocked and appalled are funny though, the WWE Locker room, is essentially, full of Jocks, really. When I hear about drama backstage about someone breaking up with someone else and stuff, it doesnt shock me whatsoever, because of them being jocks.

Wow I have said far worse about Ex's that I'm still on good terms with (well goodish terms).
Punk seems to be a super wanker at times, but seriously this wasn't that bad at all

Didn't sound that bad to me. I mean granted, yeah he didn't exactly paint her in any sorta positive light at all, but it's not as if he called her out by name or any of that.
Could he have been much, much more tactful? Sure, but eh.

I really hate 'TVTrax' and that they proclaim to be 'The TMZ of the internet wrestling community!'

I really hate 'TVTrax' and that they proclaim to be 'The TMZ of the internet wrestling community!' It's pretty annoying. They often misrepresent gossip as fact or spin interviews with stupid inaccurate titles and soundbites. eg. "OMG TRIPLE H SAYS RIC FLAIR A FAILURE" /listen to exact article and finds out that's not what he's saying at all.

This is amazing. The same people who had a hard-on for Punk 6 months ago are turning against him. This is Batista, Kennedy, and countless others all over again. Internet wrestling fans are for the most part incapable of liking something for an overly long period of time. Just because we like a guy for his promos and in ring work doesn't mean we can't think he's a douchebag outside of work. Yeah, I think Punk is an asshole but that has no bearing on the fact that he entertains me on TV. And for the record that I think Punk is a douche has nothing to do with this interview.

I'm still trying to figure out page 1. Who goes from Daffney to Traci Brooks? That's like if HHH went from Steph to Chyna.

I love the old story about how when he was in TNA he told his girlfriend at the time, Daffney, they weren't interested in hiring her and not to come down to Nashville. She makes some enquires, finds out they ARE in fact open to hiring her, she goes down there and finds him shacked up with Traci Brooks. wait, what. wut. he skipped out on Daffney... to do Traci brooks. Gross.

Can anyone transcribe the part of the interview in question? I'm at work and don't have any audio, but I'm interested in seeing if this is really bad or not.

Wow, these are the same guys that did the infamous Orton interview where he slagged off Mark Henry right before their feud and stated that he could name 10 people in the locker room that Kelly Kelly slept with. Hahaha, I guess these guys just bring out the worst in others. I'm pretty sure they could make Cena embrace the hate easier than Kane did.

Can anyone transcribe the part of the interview in question? I'm at work and don't have any audio, but I'm interested in seeing if this is really bad or not. This is essentially it: Punk: "I just ended a relationship in August, and no it doesn't hurt at all it just p***** me off to watch people that you love and admire become complete douchebags, that's what it is" Interviewer: "Wow, so she became a douchebag?" Punk: "Oh yeah" Interviewer: "What did this girlfriend do?" Punk: "Man, oh people just flake" Interviewer: "Was she in it for the wrong reasons, was she Punk's fan?" Punk: "Erm, you know, I don't know, I think I realise it doesn't matter who it was as long as somebody was her boyfriend. Interviewer: "Somebody just had to work the suit?" Punk: "Yeah" Interviewer: "You felt duped?" Punk: "Not duped, just, okay well whatever" Interviewer: "Okay so you're kind of over the whole b***h is playing games?" Punk: "Yeah" Didn't think this was that bad; I was expecting worse. I've always operated under the opinion that Punk is a great guy to watch on TV, but I'd never want to meet him because he seem like he'd be kind of a douche.

It's kind of interesting how one person's "telling it like it is" can be another's "throwing stones from a glass house". I think that little exchange sort of fits that.

Yeah, there is nothing Punk said there that is particularly incendiary.

I always thought Punk sounded like a douchebag, but the dude didn't say anything wrong here. Nothing too controversial at least.

Not even that bad, I admittedly didnt watch at first, but if people think THAT is bad, they should hear me rattle off some stuff at times about my ex, what Punk said was pretty tame I think. People need to stop caring about wrestlers personal lives, it's a tough, maybe mentally even more than the physical aspect.

What interested me the most was Punk's comments toward the one guy's interpretation of Straight Edge people being "celibate": He didn't really say that he was, he just said he "doesn't struggle with it". I mean, s'hard to believe that with all the notable girlfriends he's had that he hasn't done the deed (perhaps he doesn't adhere to that particular tenet), but the comment seemed pretty vague.
Ah, what the hell do I know? None of my business, anyhow.
