I remember seeing "The Great Mouse Detective" with my dad. I actually think he wanted to see it more than I did. Great film. Vincent Price, the guy who played Scrooge McDuck, music by Henry Mancini... What more could you ask for?
My runner up is Robin Hood. It would have been number one, but the "cultural phenomenons" that sprang from the movie - that would be furries and "The Hamster Dance" - push it down to two.
