is the greatest of all time. There may be better vocalists. There may be better showman. But is there anyone who combines both at such a consistently high level for such a long time as he has? Just watched a live Maiden show from 08. All those guys, but especially Bruce still put guys half their age to shame. Incredible. Seeing them live is for sure on my bucket list.

needs more cowbell.
Seriously, though he may not be the greatest IMO, he's definitely in my top 5 Heavy Metal vocalists of all time. The fact that he has been going strong for almost 30 years now is awesome. Even the newer Iron Maiden albums sound great vocally.

His son is in a metalcore band. Kinda surprising his kid is such a different vocalist from him.

His voice has always been one of my favorites. You'll never hear another like it, or at least I haven't, but I don't listen to much heavy metal anymore, lol. He has an extremely timeless voice, too. It sounds good on everything. Have any of you ever heard his song "Tears of the Dragon"? It's so good.

I LOVE his solo stuff, especially 'Tattooed Millionaire' and 'Accident of Birth'

Bruce is the greatest of all time as far as I'm concerned, and Maiden is the best thing going right now.

*cough*Rob Halford*cough* As much as I love the Metal God, his voice has been lost for years. Dickinson's is as strong as it's ever been, heck, he's better now than he was 25 years ago.

He's awesome... but when they were alive I'd take Freddie Mercury and Dio over him.

Iron Maiden's never really been my speed but I more than respect what they mean to metal and Bruce as a front man specifically.

Bruce and Iron Maiden in general really are the "People's Metal Band." Dickinson has a LOT to do with that. The energy, the loyalty to the fans first, the multiple talents (who else fronts the band, has consistently been one of the most amazing vocalists in rock, flies their plane, and sword fights with Eddie with an actual fencing background?), etc, make him the greatest frontman of all time.
