The geeks must go, it's time for the return of the Douchebags. I agree. I've been thinking about becoming a douchebag. Not sure which kind of douchebag I exactly want to be. Seriously considering hitting the gym super hard, shaving my head, growing a soul patch, wearing nothing but Tapout Tshirts and getting super into UFC fighting, then once my arms are sufficiently large enough, getting a bunch of scribbles around my bicep and calling it tribal. Anyway, what happened was, the marketers realized the geeks are just another demographic to sell shit to. Once they stop buying "geek" stuff, it will go away.

Whats the difference between geeks, nerds, and dorks while we're at it? Geek - obsessed with stranger aspects of pop culture. Dork - culturally inept. Nerd - Intellectually gifted, but socially inept. Does anybody even say dork anymore? That word should've went out years ago. Speaking of douchebags, I think Johnny Bravo was the original.

The geeks must go, it's time for the return of the Douchebags. In the past, Douchebags and Geeks were in constant war, now in our modern times, both groups co-exist and even interact in the same nature with no hostility, that's odd.

Hold up.
Exactly how long have I been 'cool' without being aware of it? Because if I've completely missed out on my fifteen minutes I'm going to be sooooo pissed.

This can't be too popular of a fad, because I'm still not cool.

I'm considered a geek, but I'm popular and well-known in my college. Might be because of my great social skills

This is the new "it" that people are with.
Eventually "it" will become something different, and I won't even know what "it" is!

I hope so. It irks me that people are now pretending to be fans of things that were often considered "nerdy" because it's ironically cool now. I actually had an encounter a while back with someone wearing a Tim Drake Robin T-Shirt. I'm a big fan of the character, so I said "Nice shirt. I'm a big Tim Drake fan, too.". What was this "fan"'s response? "Who's Tim Drake?".
God, this "cool to be geek" stuff is pissing me off.

Yeah, people being comfortable with themselves sucks, lets hope that ends. It's nice because these days a lot of formerly considered geeky things are more socially acceptable, and people don't have to hide their geek interests that EVERYONE has to try and look cool. It's actually funny because it's made douchebags stick out even more like a sore thumb because they seem to be bigger posers then ever lately.

My problem is that the people who buy the geeky stuff with no idea about anything involving it, just buying it because they had heard that it was cool and stuff like this popular.

My problem with it is it isn't even really "geek", or "nerd", from my experience. Just some people who wear 3D glasses with the lenses out and say stuff like "I'm playing Pokemon, I'm such a nerd xD"
And then there's the "geek" thing that I don't exactly understand yet.

The only thing I'm getting tired of is "geek humor".
I enjoy a good meme as much as the next guy, but, I'm sorry, geeks just don't know how to be funny very often. Too much reliance on sarcasm and memes.
