We interrupt our Fall pledge drive to bring you a simple question....Who here loves NPR?
From News, to Jazz, to Classical Music. From "The Thistle and Shamrock", to "This American Life", to Car Talk, there's something.....good about NPR.
What do you love about either NPR in general or your local Public Radio station?

They are currently in the midst of a pledge drive. There will be no appreciation until it is done.

I take it "One Day Wednesday" is a local event, not a national one?

I Love NPR. All Things considered takes me home from work about every day. Also Morning Edition takes me too work in the morning. LOL. Plus Fresh Air is a great show but I hardly ever listen to it. However... pledge time drives me away because for the love of god stop asking for my money!

Wait wait don't tell me and Prairie Home Companion back to back on Sundays are beautiful.

I used to listen to car talk religiously, since it was on when I went to work on the weekends. Since I'm no longer working where I was, though, I don't listen to it often.

Wait wait don't tell me and Prairie Home Companion back to back on Sundays are beautiful. I get up too late on sundays for Wait Wait, but I do like "The Splendid Table". For anyone that's listened to it, the Delicious Dish SNL sketches are even more bizarrely funny, if only for the spot on vocal parody
