"Beavis screwed his hand"
I'm intrigued, I actually laughed a few times. At first, I was skeptical like many people but it looks like this revival may not be too bad based on what I've seen thus far..

Other than Mike's problems with doing Beavis' voice again, it really looks like it's kept the classic humor.

Beavis sounds like old Beavis to me. I dont know what Mike Judge's problem is doing the voice. Im very surprised how little of the old show they changed,

Doing a voice like that for years had to be strain on the vocal chords

Doing a voice like that for years had to be strain on the vocal chords Continually doing any raspy-voiced character is never easy. That's why Donald Duck's dialog is usually fairly brief- when's the last time (outside of his comics) he had an extended, articulate rant that didn't consist of "wakwakwakwak"?

The part where they're making fun of the Jersey Shore is absolutely hilarious. "This is like a family tree, if you have a family full of whores."

I thought it was great, and I was totally against this revival. It actually seems funnier now, like the humor is a little more clever.

I heard that it's going to be premiering on Thursday, October 27th at 10 PM here in the US on MTV. So you won't have to wait very long to catch the revival of Beavis and Butthead.

awesome. best thing is, i argued for years that the music video critiques were the best part of the show, and now by tearing apart crappy shows, that aspect of beavis and butthead is only gonna get better.

Wasn't there a thread on this a few months ago?
I remember seeing that clip a while ago.

Wasn't there a thread on this a few months ago? I remember seeing that clip a while ago. I believe so, I saw the clip through here It appears as if they've maintained the original spirit of the original run, which is crucial to making it work IMO. It feels like Beavis and Butthead, which is very important, I don't think they're just trying to capture the nostalgic crowd.

I'm really excited about this. The one weird thing for me is that Beavis and Butthead has always had such a 90s tone to it. It's going to be weird seeing them in 2011. And yeah I think it's good they're branching out on their critiques of videos.

I wonder, with technology if they could use something so the strain wouldn't be so hard on Mike's voice

Also, I may be one of the few who feels like with the improved animation, it almost looks like Beavis and Butt-head stepped into the world of King of the Hill

The animation may be improved but it only looks slightly better and not a huge step up.
