I want a Tampa/Milwaukee Fall Classic! Replace Tampa with Detroit and you have what I want.

As a neutral for this set of games (I'm an Astros fan) I can honestly say that this was madness to watch and literally everything happened in 5 minutes.

My Cards/Rays World Series prediction lives on!
Chris Carpenter: 9.0 IP, 2H, 1BB, 11SO
Someone forgot to tell Carp that our team has no pitching.

We need a title change. Suggestions? I think somebody else said it, greatest night in the history of our sport seems pretty appropriate.

@buster_ESPN: In the span of about 20 minutes, we saw the two worst September collapses in baseball history. Truer words have never been said This brightens my offseason. Glad they did worse than the 07 Mets did(especially Atlanta). Never again will I have to hear the "Mets are the universe's biggest chokers."

"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops."

You could just tell that this guy was a Red Sox fan.
I'll probably have more to say later but for now I just want to congratulate the Rays.

Wow. Papelbon might want to hide out and not head back to Boston for a few weeks. While in Tampa, he'll be greeted with He's also be greeted with all of the free food and drink he could ever want while he hides out.

Hahaha, I really hope the Yankees gave up that game at the end just to screw the Red Sox.

Yanks starters: CC for game 1, Nova for game 2, and Garcia for game 3. Burnett will be in the pen

Pulling for a Tigers/Diamondbacks World Series because:
1. I'm a Tigers fan.
2. The Diamondbacks have Kirk Gibson as manager and Alan Trammell as a coach.

[Begin Sarcasm]
FOX is overjoyed beyond belief with the Rays in the playoffs at the expense of the Red Sox

If the Yanks go to the World Series, here's my hierarchy of who I'd like to see them face:
Brewers Cards D-Backs Phillies

Probably the greatest night of baseball ever. Holy crap!
So the Tigers are going to beat the Yankees. Besides CC, their pitching is pretty bad(and Verlander owns CC). JV and Fister are pretty much unbeatable at this point(combined 14-0 in the last 16 starts). I say Detroit in 4.
