I had no idea pop-up video was back on vh1. I was flipping thru the channels and they are playing Amy Crackhouse's "Rehab" with the pop-ups telling the story of her history with booze/drugs and other famous people who died at 27.
Now a Chris Brown video started.....how long till they tell the story of him beating up Rihanna via pop-up?
EDIT: OMG, I cannot make this up. The first factoids for Pink's "Get the party started" were that it was shot over 4 days in Los Angeles....eleven days after 9/11.
What does 9/11 have to do with a song/video about partying at the club?
*facepalm*

Also, they're doing a "100 Greatest songs of the '00s" this week and the ad was them talking about "Rydin Dirty." This list should be good for some lulz!

Frank Miller's The Goddamn Pop-Up Video? More accurate. I wonder if tomorrow's episode will be in black & white and feature film noir esque narration in lieu of the pop-ups

What does 9/11 have to do with a song/video about partying at the club? *facepalm* Npthing. And that's what Pop-Up Video does. They give you useless knowledge that lots of times has nothing to do with the video, song or artist. I've watched since it started originally.
