Water.
With oil is gross.
Chop up some Solid white Albacore with sweet pickles, red onion, pepper, salt, cayenne, and dash of spicy mustard spread on a Ritz; greatest broke meal ever.

erm...frozen, thanks. Canned tuna is cat food.
If absolutely necessary, I'll use a pouch of white albacore.

That's another thing with me, The oil makes it take on the Mayo for my tuna salad a bit easier. I have to drain it like CRAZY to not have "pools" in my Tuna salad.
That said, I also have a needlessly complex recipe for tuna salad, it's
- 2 Pouches (Prefer it to canned) Solid white Albacore - 3 Dollops (Cereal Spoon) of Mayo - 1 Dollop Ken's Sweet Videlia Onion Dressing - 2 Dollops HONEY Mustard - Celery Salt - 2 Teaspoons Prepared Horseradish - Pinch each of (White Pepper, Onion Powder, Cayenne Pepper, and Lowery's Seasoned Salt) - One Tub of Chick-Fil-A Polynesian Sauce (Trust me)
Mix them all Vigerously untill combined well, serve on a toasted Sandwhich with your choice of cheese (I like a good swiss or Cheddar)

I wasn't aware Chick-Fil-A was making sauce outta Polynesians. It would seem like Amnesty International or someone would put a stop to that.

Water. I'll never forgot the first time I opened a can of oil tuna without knowing what it was... I was terrified. With oil, it's fine, I can eat it, but I try to strain as much oil as possible. With water, I'm able to get a dryer tuna from it, then mix with my tuna salad recipe. However, pan frying the oil kind with some other seasons and sauces can make a really good broke meal as well.... in particular, tuna, garlic, soy sauce, and a little bit of sugar... perfect.

Oh man, I would kill a bunch of people to have a triple decker tuna sandwich with a hard boiled egg on top right now. ;D
