Meh. Big fat meh. I like Sheamus but, his has been the textbook definition of a Superman Push and I hate that. That's actually a big part of why I'm happy with the victory - now that he'll have an actual storyline they won't need to have Sheamus crushing everything in his path anymore.

I'm happy. He was one of the four guys I had picked for winning.
Wish it woulda been Dolph, though.

I'm okay with this, it was mildly surprising, and it gives Jericho something to throw a hissy fit about.

Jericho didn't really need it, to be honest. Him winning a rumble in 2012 is a bit of a waste.

I am a fan of Jericho but...I was BEGGING WWE not to go the obvious route and have him win because well...I'm also a fan of newer guys winning rumbles.

Jericho's gimmick is that he's a troll,by making everyone think he was going to win he trolled everyone again.

I can understand why some people are upset about this, but I for one like it. If there's one benefit of Rock/Cena basically selling the entire show on its own, it's the fact that guys who wouldn't normally get these opportunities at the biggest show of the year are getting them. And Sheamus/Bryan has a cool little backstory to boot, so unless WWE really screws this up, I can get behind this 100%.

Honestly, Sheamus needs this badly, ever since turning face, he had not done much other than being eliminated by Hornswoggle in a battle Royal. Hopefully, it will put him back on the map.

The hilarity of the negative reactions make it all worth it.
Congrats Big Red.

I think there is a difference with being upset that your favorite guy didn't win, and shitting all over it. I think the first comments were the latter, with time giving way to the former.

Sheamus is my favorite wrestler so I'm extremely happy he won it! I can't wait until he kicks Bryan's teeth down his throat at Wrestlemania!

I like Sheamus, so I'm happy for him. It's just the dissapointment that Jericho didn't win is kind of overriding that as it was probably his only chance.

It should not be "who needs it more" it should be what is best for the company. Jinder Mahal "needs" to with the rumble to, it would help him a lot. THIS is why everyone is upset. Is Sheamus really going to carry this company down the road? NO.

He's been champion before. That is what bothers me. I like it when guys who have never been champion win it. Benoit.

He's boring and I don't care for him.
I was disappointed with his win.

I'm happy. He was one of the four guys I had picked for winning. Wish it woulda been Dolph, though. Honestly, outside of Sheamus, I really think Dolph or Cody could've really used this. Dolph is just outside the ME picture, but after losing to Punk tonight, where does he go now? Cody just needs that one major level feud to get him up where Dolph/Sheamus are. Winning the rumble could've done that.

Y'know, I actually think the idea of Sheamus / Bryan makes me a bit more willing to tolerate Bryan as champion. Still not exactly happy with it, but curious where this feud goes.
