I think Kane, really.
I was seriously hoping for Heath, though. I really wanted him to get eliminated in some horrific way.

Definitely Kane. I understand why, but I really did want him to break his record.

King, Cole, Jey Uso, Primo, Epico, Ricardo, Kharma and Big Show did not need to be part of this match, maybe not Booker either
give their spots to Goldust, Slater, Road Warrior Animal, Yoshi Tatsu, Tyson Kidd just to start.

The announcer thing was a fun little running gag and th Kharma apperance was great. Nothing Kidd, Tatsu or Slater would have done could have topped them.

Hornswoggle, by virtue of being the first competitor announced.

A Rumble without Kane just feels weird. Definitely this. Especially since his consecutive appearance record is now broken.

Hornswoggle isn't too shocking. There's always a few announced that don't make it to the Rumble.
I have to agree that Goldust was pretty shocking. I was fully expecting him to show up and eliminate Cody and kickstart their feud over who the sanest Rhodes boy was.

Since they blew 3 spots on announcers, I was shocked Scott Stanford didn't get in there! Maybe Striker too. (I don't see why we needed announcers in the Rumble. Can't they have their own rumble where the last 2 get to be the lead commentators for Raw and Smackdown? )
As someone else stated, I know they were protecting Kane, but it just didn't feel like a rumble without him. Like in the Outsiders if Dally didn't show up.

Ted Dibiase went from being in the final 4 a few years ago, to not even making it in the match this year.
Did the put Jinder in just for the Khali confrontation? Because if so, no one in the crowed seemed to care

Tyson Kidd should have been in - the guy works 2-3 TV matches most weeks, and then gets left off the Rumble card?
Heath Slater is the best seller they have, and woud have given a great exit to make someone look a little more threatening (only Primo and Jey Uso looked like he was trying to get thrown over in the most spectacular way possible). Jimmy Uso would have done well, in that respect too.
I'd rather have seen those three in there than the announcers.
And given that Ziggler was never pushed as a threat (and even given the implant buster by Kharma), and Big Show's elimination was a bit ordinary, they could have added Goldust and William Regal (or Drew and Brodus), and given Barrett a last four spot before Orton eliminated him.
So many things I'd have changed about the Rumble in fact.

Mark Henry. Especially on he is a dominant tweener on the heel side monster.

DiBiase doesn't count. He broke his hand. Hell, they even bothered to explain it with Hunico attacking him last week.

Mark Henry. Especially on he is a dominant tweener on the heel side monster. He's pretty banged up, did next to nothing in the cage match.

Even though between my buddy and I we figured all the surprise entrants........gotta say Hornswoggle, just because he was announced.
