Final judge's rankings hit my in-box this morning, and I just now got on the forums to find them there. Results tabulated tonight and revealed tomorrow (hopefully before RAW). GOOD LUCK!

RESULTS TIME>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The first matchup was Bergman's Toy Story vs. Brainbustaaah's Bambi. Two tear-jerker clips for sure! The judges ranked in favor of Toy Story unanimously. That puts Bergman up 5-0. In the second matchup, Bergman chose Anderson Cooper while Bustaaah chose Arnold. This one was closer, but again, Bergman pulled out the victory with 3 votes. Bergman up 8-2. The Artistry category was a great suggestion and two good picks with Bustaaah's Lord of the Rings up against Cinema Paradiso for Bergman. This time Bustaaah pulled out a narrow victory 3-2. The total leans toward Bergman still at 10-5. Bergman brought Shaft Theme to the table and Bustaaah chose You Could Be Mine. Bergman's once again brought the boom and walked away with 4 judges' votes. The total becomes Bergman ahead at 14-6. Bustaaah went nostalgic with an Apple commercial while Bergman chose the serious Halftime in America. Bergman again came out on top 3-2 with the judges. Bergman 17, Bustaaah 8. In the Interview segment, Bustaaah tried to launch a comeback with Crossfire while Bergman chose Chris, er, I mean, Jim Everett on Rome is Burning. And a comeback it was indeed as Bustaaah swept from ALL judges in this one 5-0. Bergman 17, Bustaaah 13. Bergman chose the achievement from Trials Evolution while Bustaaah chose Arkham Asylum. Bergman's achievement was the more difficult or impressive one in the eyes of the judges 3-2. Bergman ahead 20-15. Bustaaah's Pop Culture Crossover pick was Robot Chicken while Bergman went with Code Monkeys. The end result was Bustaaah winning 4-1 with the judges. BrainBustaaah closes the gap to 21-19. In the second to last matchup, Brianbustaaah attempted to close the gap even further with Sinead O'Connor. Bergman chose Kanye West's moment of shame. The result ... Brainbustaaah sweeps the judges! 5-0. That mean Bustaaah takes the lead out of nowhere 24-21. In the final matchup ... Bergman, you chose Andy Richter and needed 4 judges' votes to force a tie OR a sweep to win. Brainbustaaah, you chose Bruce Lee in The Green Hornet. Bergman ... you got ... {Spoiler}4 JUDGES VOTES. BRAINBUSTAAAH GETS 1! That means ... {Spoiler}WE HAVE A TIE IN THE FINAL!!! PLEASE STAND BY AS WE GO TO GRIDLOCK WITH THE JUDGES AND AN ANNOUNCEMENT SOON TO COME!!!

Here is your follow-up to FINALS results: READ CAREFULLY EVERY WORD{Spoiler}This is going to be a knockdown, drag-out until the end, it appears. So, finalists, you have 2 major sets of tasks in this dramatic conclusion to find a winner:
1. Select a clip submission from any 4 of the 6 the realms listed below. Then, add one more "wildcard" pick to the list (that means you can double up on one of the realms/categories). So for instance, I might pick sports, video games, television, and music as my four submissions, and then I pick video games again as my "wildcard" submission. (5 total picks, BUT pay attention below)
a. sports b. video games c. movies d. television e. music f. miscellaneous/other
THE STIPULATION: EVERY PICK MUST BE A "DOUBLE DIP" FROM THE CATALOGUE OF PICKS YOU HAVE MADE THUS FAR IN THE GAME.Example: If I chose Barney and Friends in Round 2, I would be able to use another clip of my choosing from Barney and Friends here. But if my opponent had chosen Teletubbies in Round 5, I would not be able to double dip into Teletubbies for a pick here in this head-to-head. You are not allowed to just pick something brand new that hasn't been used thus far unless it has a connection to one of your catalogued picks from thus far in the game. Example: I *could* choose a Make Room for Daddy TV clip (which hasn't been used in the game thus far) but the Make Room for Daddy clip could have a Green Bay Packers radio broadcast as part of the scene. (Green Bay Packers HAVE been used thus far--we'll assume by me; therefore, the pick is valid.)
Remember, they must be double-dip picks from your own listthroughout the game thus far. The contestants have established themselves over the course of the game, so instead of seeing what new they can come up with, let's see what the judges truly appreciated as a whole throughout the game and how that does when pitted against each other.
Also, if we have had a convoluted round like "mixed pop culture" and you chose to mix a music reference with a sports video package in that particular round earlier in the game, you could choose either a double dip from that musical piece you chose or from the sport itself. Example: I submitted a Barney and Friends video montage in Round 4 with the song "I Hate Everything About You" by Ugly Kid Joe. Now, in the finals, I would be able to just pick another Ugly Kid Joe song as my choice. Or, I could even just choose another clip with OR without music that incorporates Barney and Friends into it in some way.
--------------------------------------------------------
2. No one has used these realms (in the traditional sense, I mean) at all in the game thus far:
a. visual art b. dance/performance art c. writing d. comic books e. comic strips
Choose any two of the the five categories listed above and submit your video clip or screen capture or web link or whatever. Obviously, this will not be a double-dip pick. It will be an original pick not used thus far in the game.
-------------------------------
So in closing, those are 7 more total picks each contestant will make. Here is how they will be judged. Every judge, along with every contestant who did not quit or get an auto-elimination in the game will be sent PMs for judging this sudden death head-to-head. Also, Widow's Peak and Sudden Rush Sawyer will be asked to judge (they were guest judges in the music round). Your names will not be attached to your picks. Surely this will help break the tie. The time for picks from "guest judges and former contestants" to submit their choices will be cut off as soon as all 5 original judges' picks have been received by me.
Your head-to-heads will be presented for the judges based on what genres are submitted. If both contestants submit the same categories/genres, then those will be pitted head-to-head against each other. Obviously, there is a good chance that both contestants will not choose the exact same pop culture realms in either challenge. Once the categories/genres that each contestant both chose are pitted against each other, any remaining picks that don't match genres will be randomly paired. So, see the following scenario for Challenge #1:
Brainbustaaaah chooses Movies, television, sports, video games, and then video games again as his wildcard.
Bergman chooses Movies, television, music, miscellaneous/other, and then television again as his wildcard.
The two contestants' movies selections would be paired against each other. The two television picks would get the same treatment. Then, Bustaaah's sports pick could go against Bergman's music pick straight up, and Bustaaah's video games picks would go up against Bergman's miscellaneous pick. (Wildcard picks will always be pitted head-to-head with each other.)
If this sounds complicated, it kinda is, I suppose. But that's because the two contestants RULE! Now, let's see what you got! Good luck. I'm just ready to declare both of you winners actually. You both deserve the title of "First FAN World Series of Pop Culture Winner"

*Bergman walks up on stage*
So, since this is taking forever I'm demanding to be crowned the winner!
*Crickets*
Fine, then I'll just make my own show, with all the pop culture and music you can handle!
You know what, screw the culture, it's time to go old school.
*A graphic pops up on screen*
FAN IDOL V2... coming soon (or whenever this is finished)
