Who in your opinion are really that d*** good (to paraphrase HHH-don't mean to break any rules) as far as in-ring skill alone? It is obviously inspired by the really not that good in the ring thread I created.

When HHH is at his best, there's no one better in my opinion. When he's on, the storytelling and psychology of his matches are almost perfect.
CM Punk is another one, it's hard for him to have a bad match.
Daniel Bryan for the reasons mentioned above.
Orton. I know this isn't a popular choice but he's in the same mold as HHH, when he's on, he's the best in the company I think.
Christian. He puts it all out there every night and makes sure the fans leave happy.

The guy is good, but he can't really carry people and a lot of his matches have let me down.

Randy Orton. So smooth and fluid and crisp, everything he does matters, everything he does makes sense, and all of his offense (even his chinlocks as a heel) work toward the single purpose of building to the RKO. Would absolutely love to see him in a match with Daniel Bryan thats given a lot of time to build and tell a story, because id put Bryan right behind Randy.

I don't get the anti-Orton sentiment that pervades smark culture. The guy is a high-class ring-general.
Cena excels at telling top-rate action movie-esque stories in the ring, however tiresome his schtick may get.

Pretty much everyone that people whine about being "overrated by the IWC". They do deserve the hype. Plus Triple H.

As much as i dislike Triple H, there is is no denying how good his in-ring psychology is and how good he is at telling a story.

I can't remember the last bad match that Ziggler or Bryan have had. Also, I'd definitely say Ted DiBiase is underrated in his own ring acumen.

They are great wrestlers but sometimes they wrestle a boring boring slow match and sometimes they have bad chemistry with someone that they can only get one good match out of every five. I don't think I have ever seen a bad or boring Christian match ever since his return to the WWE.

He's had great matches, even against opponents that WWE Creative wanted to see gone (he even overcame that awful Warrior's Way from Kaval that almost knocked his block off). Hell, my favorite feud that involved the Great Khali was against Ziggler, because those were some actual good matches, and very few people have ever carried the big guy to passable matches, let alone entertaining ones. I don't believe Triple H can do it as well today, but before he tore his quad the first time, he was easily the best worker in the industry, but he still maintains the ability to tell a story.

Cena, Punk, Bryan, Orton, Ziggler, Christian and HHH. Sheamus is no slouch either.
