I don't keep up with FCW, but I have heard that Damien Sandow has been doing some tremendous work since being re-signed by WWE.
My question is, what's been the evolution of his gimmick? I believe he was an Iraqi sympathizer at first and he had recently been doing a gay gimmick? I dunno if any of that is entirely accurate, but he's got a good look and can work, so I'm curious as to what he's up to.

Apparently on the house shows, he's doing another "Rich Guy" gimmick, with Abe Washington as his manager.

I think he went from militant political kind of guy to... well... beard and robe enthusiast.

I like his current 'Sylvester Terkay dressed as Bob Backlund' look.

At first, the premise of his gimmick was he was a militant right winger. He debuted in FCW at the time the Tea Party in America was getting pretty big, and he wanted to capitalize on that. There were also stories about militant right wing groups in America, and I don't want to go too much into that as it would violate the rules, but that was the gist of it. Since then, he's become more of just a regular heel, but he's still really good as a heel anyway.
So to be fair, while he maybe a typical rich guy with his gimmick, Antonio Cesaro is a typical foreign heel, but he's still really good in his role.

If it weren't for the slicked back hair, I'd just think this was some crazy guy with a beard wandering around in a robe. And he would end up being my favorite wrestler.

I watcher the last two eps of fcw (my first) and he seemed like an overly arrogant guy asking for the spotlight in himself as he talked his way to the ring without music. I dug it

With his new look, he looks like Allen from The Hangover.

That Genius picture is pretty much his gimmick on FCW house shows. He wears pink tights, does cart wheels, recites poetry and teams with Dean Ambrose. It doesn't translate well on tv but it's awesome live.

As good as he is now, he had a much better gimmick when he was Aaron "The Idol" Stevens, The Maharaja of the MĂ©nage-A-Trois-Jah.
He's a much better wrestler now, but he's been watered down by the WWE machine.

I dunno if any of that is entirely accurate, but he's got a good look and can work, so I'm curious as to what he's up to. When he wrestled Brodus Clay in the dark match at the Raw taping on Monday, he didn't seem to have a "gay" gimmick. His gimmick seemed to be that of a sophisticated gentleman. He had a mouthpiece manager named Abraham Washington who spoke highly of the sophistication of Sandow, and Sandow came out to the ring wearing one of those fancy lounge/study bathrobes. And then he took off the robe to reveal peach colored trunks and pink boots....... He also randomly started doing cartwheels around the ring after Brodus started gyrating his ass.
