Okay ROH, this has been a very good match but it's time for a finish. As you should know from last time, there's such a thing as kicking out too much.

Oh YES! I was hoping that it'd end with Cole pinning Davey and it DID! Awesome that they gave him a rub like that!

Star making match. That was incredible, I've never seen a tag team dissolving angle play out as beautifully as this.

Now that I can get behind. If Steen doesn't dethrone Davey for the title, then you'll be seeing a lot of fans bail on the company. Mark my words.

So is O'Reilly heel now? Or are they just teasing it right now?

So is O'Reilly heel now? Or are they just teasing it right now? To me, he's been a heel ever since he ditched his tag partner to be with Davey. The most telling part was when they did an interview on the show where Eddie says O'Reilly sucks up to Davey constantly and they cut to O'Reilly who's reply is "I don't care what Eddie thinks, I only care about what Davey thinks"

That main event was great. Felt like an old school NJPW main event with a ton of kick outs. Good thing there weren't many of those matches. Cole is good but O'Reily may be something special.
Mike Bennett is the best heel in the world
Hated the Lethal/Ciampa ending with Lethal no selling a Kryponite Krunch on the ring apron. Thought the match should've ended in a Double Count Out.
Briscoes and Bucks really didn't seem to get going at all.
Jacobs and Steen seemed more angle than match.
The ROH/Chikara angle seems interesting
and Steen's post main event promo was terrific.
oh and by the way....#JiuJitsuJackoff. Trending Worldwide

This screenshot sums up alot of the show for me.(sorry for the quality) My feed had tons of stuff like that with the production people having bad timing. Alot of playing video packages while entrances were going on. To me,It was a flawed show. I'm not trying to be a downer but I couldnt escape the feeling. Part of it is that I miss the feeling of the old days. Though this show at times brought me back fondly. The steen stuff is brilliant. He's gone from villain to becoming an anti hero. He's even playing to the crowd like a face. It's amazing. I thought his match was kinda not the best though. The tag matches all featured great teams but I dont know if I really liked any of those matches. It was cool to see red though who is in my opinion one of the most underrated guys in roh history. I actually kinda liked the briscoes vs bucks match but it seemed flawed. I should rewatch it. The wgtt vs anx match kinda featured great performances that didnt mesh. I actually really enjoyed homicide vs bennett. I dont know if others did but it felt like homicide back on old form. I hope homicide gets a chance in a company again whether its wwe,tna or roh. He's still got it. Lethal vs ciampa was actually kinda good. The last few minutes kinda seemed odd but they meshed. Jay Lethal has become something incredible. I feel glad for him. The main event was kinda conflicting. I like all 4 guys in the match but parts of it really were kinda bad. I liked the story it tried to tell and I think it did a good job of establishing future shock as individuals with cole as an underdog babyface and o reilly as a huge jerk. But parts of it did kinda suck for me. Overall,I dont regret my purchase but for rohs 10 year anniversary...i think it could of been alot better.

Just finished watching the show my thoughts in brief were: - ANX/WGTT was a good opener, nothing special but good nonetheless. - Homicide/Bennett was decent but mainly just because it was nice to have Homicide back. - Eddie Kingston teasing the match with Richards but being interrupted by Steen was nice. The brawl and 'invasion' that ensued was great. - HOT vs. Perkins/Red was my favourite match of the night, super exciting to watch. Would love to see Perkins/Red team up more often. Both teams could add greatly to the tag division. Although clearly both Strong (who already has been) and Elgin are World Title material when needed in the ME. - Lethal/Ciampa was a slowburner, nice last 5 minutes but kind of soured by Ciampa taking longer to get in the ring than Lethal after that Kryptonite Krunch. - Briscoes/Young Bucks was a very good match. Wish it had gone another 5 or so minutes but it was still very good to watch. - Jacobs/Steen was good-great. Corino trying to call the match off had me worried. I marked out for Jacobs being in his old AotF gear. There were some really amazing spots in the match. Wish it had gone another 5 minutes and I didn't quite feel the match was as good as Steen/Corino, Steen/Generico or even Jacobs/Aries. Very good though. - The main event was okay. It had some insanely good wrestling and nice spots but it was majorly soured by too many kick-outs and going about 10 minutes too long. I was delighted to see Cole get the pin on Richards clean though and glad that O'Reilly turned heel because he has been a complete dick in the build-up to this match. - Steen's appearance at the end was great. Wish Jui-Jitsu Jackoff had trended worldwide though . He has to be next World Champ. Overall: A huge improvement on a tepid Final Battle and turned out better than it looked on paper. Wish it could have been better being the 10th Anniversary Show though, don't regret my purchase though - not in the slightest.

My wife and I hadn't watched ROH in a long, long time. The last time we watched the TV show, Adam Pearce was booking and Mike Hodgewood was busy slapping porpoises. The last full show we saw was booked by Gabe. Still, we had nothing else to do, so we gave it a shot. Please note that I am going to get very, very picky at points, so bare with me.
- Both of us were digging Nigel on commentary. It was nice to see a color commentator actually do color commentary, not talk about their "fave fives" or whatever the hell Lawler rambles about anymore. Kevin Kelly, on the other hand, was boring. The guy just has no personality.
- We both wished that they would have done more with the "10 year anniversary" theme. Nigel, Homicide and Jimmy Jacobs tried, but there's only so much they can do.
- The ANX/WGTT match was just kind of "there." It wasn't bad, but it wasn't something that I grabbed my attention.
- The Homicide/Mike Bennett match felt like old-school ROH. The show needed more of that feeling.
- The Brutal Bob character looks like he stepped out of a cartoon. It just doesn't work.
- I know that I'm splitting hairs here, but Kevin Kelly's assertion that ROH is helping Maria become a bigger star was laughable. I'm all for the announcers putting their company over, but that was just ridiculous.
- Neither of us enjoyed the Eddie Kingston segment as much as most of you did, but that's because we're not Chikara fans. It was extremely well done, however.
- The House of Truth/TJ Perkins and Amazing Red match was great, and that's coming from a guy who hates Roderick Strong.
- If I ever become president, I am going to pass an executive order mandating that Truth Martini never dresses himself again. Seriously... that outfit was hideous.
- Tomasso Ciampa either needs to speak up, or ROH needs to get better mics. I couldn't hear a word of his promo.
- Neither of us were impressed by Ciampa. He wasn't awful; just boring.
- Why does the embassy have four people in their entourage but only two active wrestlers? That makes absolutely no sense.
- Were any of the moments in the ROH Top Ten booked by their current booking team?
- The Briscoes/Young Bucks match was good, but never seemed to get out first gear.
- Everything about the Steen/Jacobs match, from Corino's commentary to Jacobs showing his evil side to Steen (in general) was fantastic.
- I'm obviously in the minority here, but I found the main event to be completely and utterly boring. It went on a half hour too long.
- Everything that happened after the main event, however, was excellent. It makes me glad that we stuck with it instead of turning on The Simpsons, which almost happened a few times. The not-so-subtle "the heel is the face/the face is the heel" dynamic was really well done.
- Steen is the freaking man. He said pretty much everything we were thinking.
Overall, it was worth the $10. It wasn't perfect, but it was a fun way of spending a Sunday afternoon.
