With all the injuries going down lately and Orton being injured AGAIN, I just kind of wonder what the cumulative injuries are across the roster right now, and also with retired guys, just to get a sense of how beaten up people are.
I think much like you can use Muta for the Muta scale, it would be appropriate to perhaps use Mick Foley as the benchmark, as I think it'd be kind of hard to agree on ANYONE being more thoroughly, physically destroyed from wrestling than Foley.
Close behind Foley I think you'd have to have Edge, with the neck injury that retired him being the straw on a camel's back of years of high spot damage. I think with Edge one of the most telling things is to compare his early spear (such as in that one baseball commercial) which is nearly as impactful as Goldberg's at times, to his running hug from later.
Rey and Undertaker I would put at about the same level of shot-ed-ness, in terms of how both seem to barely held together at this point, though I'd actually put Rey as worse than 'Taker if only because his knees seem to be held together with buttered Kleenex. (This would be a good place to compare Muta, but all I really know is that his knees are probably worse than Rey's.)
Orton has got to be getting up there in terms of cumulative injuries, and I can't help but think he might wind up with a comparatively early retirement like Edge as well.

Khali is borderline inanimate. He's going to be like Andre at the end soon.
Out of the current guys I actually think Cena is the closest to being gone because one spot or one bad medical exam can finish him off at any time. Guys like Orton and Rey are beaten into the ground but they have nothing wrong that can put them in a wheelchair.

Khali I mean how much longer can he compete in WWE without being wheeled out of the arena

Of the currently active wrestlers because I don't think we should include retired wrestlers....it's assume they are broken down. I'd vote Hogan for retired anyway.
As for active: It's a toss up between Rey and Taker. To me Taker is semi-retired so I feel Rey edge's him out because he plans to wrestle more than one match a year and he has a habit of actually missing Wrestlemanias.
EDIT: I know Khali's knees are shot but I maybe I'm underestimating his injuries. If he's that far gone...why is he back to just do squash matches against jobbers? I feel he's got more left in his tank that we might think. He's never been real agile anyway and doesn't need to be for his style.

I don't think there is anyone more destroyed physically than Taker. Two fake hips, 5 shoulder surgeries, and multiple knee surgeries all within the last three years.

Almost positive that Taker does NOT have two fake hips. He had hip surgery but I can't imagine he'd be wrestling if it was hip replacement.

It's not uncommon for that either, Roddy Piper has been doing it for years.

Pretty sure Taker does actually have at least 1 fake hip. Not hard to understand given his larger stature & 20+ years in the business.

On the current roster I've got to go with Orton. He seems to wearing out his body at an unbelievable pace. I wish him no ill will. Maybe it's time to reconsider giving these guys some time to rest or an off season.

I don't think Foley should be the benchmark for broken down wrestlers. I mean, he can still walk after all. I'd say Dynamite Kid is more suited for that spot. Unless we're purposely looking for someone who's health issues are purely wrestling related and not influenced by steroids/painkillers.

NOBODY on the current roster can touch Khali imo
I saw him a couple weeks ago at a house show and just watching him try to walk to the ring made me want to hug him. The dude legitimately cannot walk.
I have no idea how he's still wrestling. Absolutely none.

I've heard that Mark Henry's in pretty bad shape. I was surprised they had him working a match on Raw last night. I haven't watched Smackdown yet and I'm avoiding results until then, so I'm not sure if he was on there as well.

And you would think he's in great shape. Still, I think guys like that are better off than people like Dynamite Kid and Superstar Billy Graham. Then again, they're also much younger. But Dynamite has been in bad shape for a really long time too.
