So they have around 5,000 tickets left. I haven't been keeping up with past WM ticket sales, but is this usual these days? I was expecting it to be sold out by now, but I could be expecting too much these days.
Also worthy of noting, Sun Life Stadium has a capacity of 75,192 for football games.

I guarantee those are the 5,000 worst tickets...and they all probably still carry a ridiculously high price. The smaller seating capacity doesn't surprise me...factor out the number of seats they'll lose for the massive staging, lighting, etc and. Yeah. They only way they'll ever approach WM3 numbers is JerryWorld in Dallas...

This sounds like the ideal time for them to release this info to get the one last surge in tickets

Yeah, with the large stadiums they don't usually sell out at all and having that many left isn't unusual, especially once they figure out the staging and free up more.

I had a feeling this would be the case. After mentioning Cowboys Stadium, it's worth noting again that MetLife actually has a larger capacity.

Pricing of the tickets doesn't help. I hear they're higher now than they've ever been. I paid $210 for a seat that will be about as good if not maybe even slightly worse than the one I had at Wrestlemania 26. I paid about $95 for my Wrestlemania 26 ticket.
...and wait, only 63,000 or so expected for this year's event? That's a fairly significant drop from recent years, isn't it?

BUT, unlike Met Life JerryWorld can be configured (and has been configured) to get 100,000+ in there. So, while I do think it's possible they could approach WM3 numbers in Jersey I think the more likely possibility to approach it and possibly break it is Dallas whenever they get that inevitable date worked out.

Are most of the unsold tickets at the very back of the top tier? I assume you won't be able to see much from up there.

That's what happens when you take the Funkasaurus off television.

They have 30 "Official Platinum" pairs of seats (which are supposed to have the best views according to the description) going from $10k (front row)-$600 (first level, first row). However, for normal prices, the sections in gray are sold out and the only open are in blue: So most appear to be behind or beside the stage.

I would think the 224-232 section would have been sold right away, since it has the best view of the stage.
Maybe the behind the stage seating was recently released? Odd that such a large section wouldn't have sold yet.

They're just making sure they don't go over the "maximum capacity".

Odd that such a large section wouldn't have sold yet. I'm not sure if it's a false memory but when me and my friends bought section 113 tickets I'm pretty sure they weren't available.

Odd that such a large section wouldn't have sold yet. Those 200 level seats are too expensive, basically, given the angle of the stadium those are pretty damn far away. Buying tickets to something like this held in a football stadium is a challenge. You actually want to see what's happening in the ring w/o using the screens, if you're using the screens you could just watch at home.
