Last year, the World Heavyweight Championship opened Wrestlemania, and with there being 4 big matches this year (with the 2 title matches arguably being the least important), I could easily see them repeating that layout, this time opening with the WWE Title.
It could also be Bryan/Sheamus opening, but I don't really like the idea of the Rumble winner in the opener.
Plus, what a hell of a match to start off with.

I think one of the big matches should start. At least, more PPV's could try that sort of thing. The crowd is usually hot to start sometimes.
It was kinda awesome at Elimination Chamber to start with the WWE title match.

Wouldn't bet on it with Bryan/Sheamus right there.

Look at it this way....Sheamus/DBD was the dark match last year. If they get opening matchup this year well it's a step up for them.
And yes Punk/Jericho is the opener tonight on RAW.

I kind of want them to start with HIAC. Go all out from the get go.

The WWE title is more valuable and has the bigger names involved, no way it's opening the show.

Punk/Jericho could make a great, Bret/Owen-style workrate-heavy opening match to get the crowd fired up. I'd have no problem with this.

I hope not, WWE doesn't know how to save matches anymore.

-DBD/Sheamus -HHH/'Taker -Punk/Jericho -Cena/Rock
And sprinkle the other matches, skits etc in between

I think last year was a special circumstance. They knew Edge's neck was jacked up and they had to get through the match. I think they wanted it on early just in case. I doubt we'll see that again.

That said, I think they'll go on later in the show so they can mention a few times how great it is that they made the card after being pushed off last year. I figure Cody/Show stands a chance of being the opener, assuming it happens.

I don't believe that whole they knew he was injured before Wrestlemania. If they knew so much in advance, why book him in a ladder match at Extreme Rules?

I really doubt it'll be the WWE title match that opens the show. I'm willing to bet the WHC match is the one that takes that spot.

If Taker/Hunter opened the show, they would have the best visuals of the night (If it's clear weather, they would probably go from Sunset to night during the match).

It was kinda awesome at Elimination Chamber to start with the WWE title match. Disagreed. Having a title match as the opener makes the participants involved look more like prelim guys. The world title matches should be featured as the main event. If you stick them anywhere else, especially at the start of the show, then you're basically telling the audience that a Kane vs Cena match is more important than what is supposed to be the most prestigious title in your company. And why would you want to open with your biggest match anyway? It would be like giving somebody a thousand dollars and then later on giving them a hundred. The latter just means so much less because you already gave them the nicer gift beforehand. Wouldn't things work much better in the reverse order? As to answer the question, no, that'll probably be Sheamus/Bryan.

I'd rather they kick off the show with Undertaker/HHH.

If they have a strong undercard there is no need to have a main event as the opening match. You can book a card by spacing them all out evenly between the other matches. Especially not Punk/Jericho, not after raw segments last night between the two in my opinion.
