I had the idea for this thread a while ago. Basically it is cities that could host a WrestleMania but for for some reason haven't yet. There are going to be cities that won't due to lack of facilities or weather concerns. Here's the list I can come up with off the top of my head: San Francisco Denver (put it in Mile High to avoid the Nuggets owner) Baltimore (maybe its just me but I think 'Mania in Camden Yards would be cool) Calgary Mexico City Dallas San Diego (Qualcomm)
What do y'all think? (Edit- I shouldn't type while drunk)

San Diego would be cool. I'm shocked WWE didn't do New Orleans. Tampa would be cool too, brother.
I always thought Aloha Stadium in Honolulu would be great. However, the time difference could be a problem. If they start it a 7 eastern, that's 2 in Hawaii. The sun would still be out during the main event, which would bug a lot of people. Also, what do you do with Raw the following night?

Agreed on all of these. Actually, I'd mentioned Mile High WrestleMania before, problem being holding a late March/early April PPV in Denver. It'd be a great SummerSlam venue, though.
Also, St. Louis and New Orleans. Hell, I'd add Vancouver and Brazil, if they wanted to go international, especially since both are pretty much in the same timezone as the US.

Sun would be fine, it'd be a throwback to daytime wrestlemanias. I assume there's some smaller Honolulu arena you could run RAW from the next night, and Smackdown the night after.

Have Mania in one city and the main events in the Tokyo Dome! CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan Unification match. The crowd would explode with excitment!!! BOOK IT!
Speaking of, they could have the rumble in 2 cities, the same night. Have the winner of each rumble face eachother at elimination chamber, to determine who's going to mania.

San Francisco (or San Jose or Santa Clara once the A's and 49ers get their stadiums)
Minneapolis (surprised they never did the Metrodome when Ventura was governor)
New Orleans
Denver
Pittsburgh
Cincinnati
Cleveland
Milwaukee (Miller Park is retractable)
Washington D.C.
Dallas

This begins and ends with New Orleans. Aside from the fact that I'm a tad biased being 30 minutes away, the environment is perfect. The Dome is huge and I'm sure we could cram at least 85000 in there. There is plenty to get into other than Axxess. Not to mention it is definitely an old school wrestling city. NOLA for 31 or we riot.

Now that WWE is open to hosting 'Mania in northern cities, there's absolutely no reason why Pittsburgh shouldn't be on the list of potential candidates. Consider: 1. WWE holds the record for highest attendance at the Civic Arena. 2. Our new arena, the CONSOL Energy Center, will be hosting its fifth WWE show in May. Not bad for a venue that's less than two years old. 3. We have the perfect venue for Axxess with the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. 4. Pittsburgh has already proven it can accommodate large events. I know some superhero movie recently filmed here--I think it was called "The Light King Falls" or somesuch. 5. WWE not only has historical ties to the Steel City, but business ties as well. The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is in charge of the company's Wellness Program. And famed WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt works for K&L Gates LLP, whose headquarters are located in ... Pittsburgh! Hmm, sounds like a pretty easy decision to me. Make it happen, Vince.

The only venue big enough is Wembley Stadium, and that'll never host 'Mania because: * The roof can close over the fans, but not the pitch * Weather concerns * The local council wouldn't allow it to finish after 11pm, because it's next to a large housing estate, so it would need to start at 7pm which is 2pm Eastern US time. You'd lose too many buys from the West of the US. The only stadium in the UK that could hold 'Mania is the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. The roof closes over the entire 70,000 seater venue (and just think how many more fans you could get in on the pitch) Because the ground is on the edge of the city centre, no resident concerns - so you can have the show start at Midnight local time (like some of the Calzaghe fights have done).

Wrestlemania will never be held outside of North America. The time differences are too great and spoilers would destroy the buyrate. Theres a reason why we havent seen a PPV from any other continent since the Summerslam in London (which was before the internet). Any PPV overseas since (Insurrection etc) were for that particular market.
The stadium its held in next year (in NY/NJ, very similar weather to London in April) does not have a roof, so I dont think this would be a mark against it, but everything else would.
They've also held it in the Citrus Bowl, but thats in FL, as is Miami and neither of them have roofs.
I dunno about this. Next year is different because of where it is more so than anything else, not necessarily because of the venue. I dont think Pittsburgh would be a candidate or would beat out other cities.
As for the OP, San Francisco. This will change once the Niners new stadium is built.

Vancouver. Not sure why they ignore that market so much. Holds the 2nd fastest sell out in RAW history.
Calgary is a great market, but Wrestlemania would not be at their hockey arena, and the one football stadium they have is outdoors. Winter in northern Canada, is different than NY. And to be frank, their football stadium is terrible.

Y'know honestly about St. Louis... I personally think they should wait until they can get a handle on having PPV's there. I was at Royal Rumble this year and it was a complete mess.
