I was thinking about how a lot of events I'd love to have copies of will never be released by the WWE on DVD, stuff like all the King of the Ring PPVs, All the Clash of the Champions, and the rest of Survivor Series they didn't release.
Then I thought about what Warner Bros. did with their Warner Archive a couple of years ago and have a Made on Demand service to release more obscure titles that probably would not sell well in stores, but people can order through the website and are burned on DVD-R. There usually aren't special features, but it allows you to get a copy of a movie that would never have a chance of being released in the first place. Apparently it's been really successfully, to the detriment of getting real DVDs of classic movies.
I think it would be cool to be able to get say the complete Clash of the Champions for say $125, even for DVD-R's. I know you can find stuff like this on the grey market, but usually the quality is not that good.
So would that be something you would be interested in? And yes I know the biggest problem would be how much the WWE would charge for something like this.

I'd be down. Assuming the price was okay that is.

Are they going to continue the Survivor Series sets? They stopped just shy of the ones I was most interested in.

I have honestly wondered why they haven't done something like this yet for awhile.
I know they have the network they claim to be starting, so I guess it is to not lose potential viewers for that. Just seems like a lot of stuff won't be shown on there that could be done on a system like this.

I would love to get the remainder of the Survivor Series set. I hate having an incomplete set and don't want to pay an outrageous price for an out of print DVD.

I think they haven't done it because of the amount of blurring, dubbing, and re-editing they'd have to do, which would take an insane amount of time and effort from people who might be better used doing other things. That said, I don't see why they couldn't go through, edit certain things to their liking, and make that collection of already-edited matches and events available.
Sure, you might not be able to get a complete, unaltered PPV with Benoit on it, but if they let you pick and choose from a selection of matches and events they've already edited to their specifications, I don't really see what's stopping them. They're leaving some serious money on the table here.
Then again, it could be that people would start making their own "Best of Jericho" set and they'd then have no incentive to buy WWE's take on Jericho's career retrospective. That said, they don't have to give up the whole farm, just make a decent selection available. There's real money to be made in this.

They have plenty of interns here in Stamford whose job it is to digitize all their old tape library so they are at least preserving it. It could just be for the network but who knows. They have 1000s of hours of product that they could be selling to a (somewhat) small audience. There is money to be made here.
I for one would love to own WCW PPVs that will never see the light of day on DVD.

There would have to be something even if I can't name just one thing I would buy
