My wrestling dream has been to meet Beth Phoenix in person. She has been my favorite Diva/wrestler as a whole since 2007. I've always been attracted to muscular athletic women, and Beth has always been my favorite. Sure, I could pick Natalya or Kaitlyn (see sig), but Beth has always been my #1. She is like an idol to me and she shows that women can be beautiful and have muscles as well. I just love the fact that Beth dares to be different from most people. Plus, she is most attractive Diva imo and a great wrestler as a bonus.
I went to Wrestlemania this year in hopes to meet Beth. I made a mistake by not going to the Wrestlemania Art Show as that is really the best place to meet her, but I didn't want to pay all that money. She was scheduled for two Axxess apperances, both of which I was going to.
The first one, she was participating in the THQ challenge. I had originally planned to meet the Tough Enough trainers first, then go ringside to meet her. Sadly, a friend of mine really wanted Christian's autograph so I was trying to be nice and decided to go in his line to get it. I was lucky to get back in the TE trainers line because I still wanted to meet Booker T and Trish. By the time I was done, she was long gone.
The second session, she was no where to be found. I know there is the "talent subject to change" rule, but I made of list of every person that I wanted to meet at Axxess and I met them at that session.
Fast Foward to today, Raw is in Columbus for Labor Day, so I decided to camp out by the parking lot hoping for wrestlers to come out. I met Nunzio, Charles Robinson, and Justin (the black ref). I even got a picture with Vickie, JTG, Derrick Bateman, and John Morrison. Eventually, Beth showed up and parked her car. We was like 10-20 feet away from her screaming to come to us, but she said sorry as she was in a rush. This was such a downer for me, I nearly wanted to cry because I was inside. While I'm still glad I went, that moment was such a bummer.
I'm going to a houseshow in Youngstown the day before NOC, but I hear stories that the city/venue sucks and is impossible to meet anyone
I'm always scared that since Beth is somewhat the "oldest" Diva, her times in WWE are nearing. I have (and still) been so furious at WM 28 being in Miami because of one man (you know it was). If it was in Toronto, I could have made it and went to the Art Show and meet Beth there. I'm just not sure she will still be in WWE by the time WM 29 happens
