Sonic Mega Collection and Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PS2. Seriously those two were by complete accident as I didn't even plan on finding either of them today, let alone both of them.
Also picked up Street Fighter II and Star Fox for the SNES. I don't particularly want to play either one again but it's rare to find SNES games that aren't absolute suckfests (or old sports titles) at Plug N' Play so I had to take advantage of the opportunity.
Also picked up One Piece: Pirate's Carnival. It was only $3 and my cuz is a One Piece nut so I figured he might enjoy it. Who knows, it probably sucks lol.
Anyway, just felt like sharing.

I have Mega Man Anniversary Collection and I really enjoyed it. I always intended to picked up Sonic Mega Collection but I never got around to it. I had Sonic Gems Collection but sold it since it wasnt that great.

What's different about Sonic Gems Collection? It's a GC exclusive collection that has Sonic CD and a few other games.

Yea I don't think Mega Collection has Sonic CD which is a shame, but on the plus side it has 6 of the Game Gear titles which I didn't even realize when I picked it up. Though, I don't understand why it has the Genesis AND Game Gear versions of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine... I'm blazing through Mega Man 2 right now. I forgot how easy it is but it's a perfect way to get back into these games.

Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut has all 12.

Least you didn't get the GC Mega Man Collection. WTH were you thinking in switching the button layouts, Capcom?

Yea, I actually had to research the PS2 version a while back to make sure it didn't have the same issue because I had heard about that. Btw, on Mega Man 2 why the f*** is Heat Man's stage so much harder than every other robot master's? Holy crap. I probably spent 30 minutes on those stupid disappearing blocks. It's already hard, but then the game likes to glitch and cause the patterns to go all haywire or in some cases cause the block your standing on to completely move. Such bullshit. Thank God I'm done with that.

Work smarter, not harder, my father always says.

But hey, now I can say that I beat Heat Man's stage the OG way. I made it to Wily's castle and decided to play Mega Man 8 since it's the only one I've never played. Unless I'm mistaken, there's no way to exit one game and play a different one aside from resetting the console. Anyway, MM8 is awesome but it's different. The voice acting is hilariously bad, especially Dr. Light's. I beat the first 4 robot masters and decided to turn it off. Just 4 more robot masters and I'm off to fight Dr. Wiwee

I haven't tried it but I did see it listed as a cheat for the game when I was looking up how to unlock stuff. So apparently it still works.

Woah, the complete works versions of Rockman 1-6 sounds awesome. The original NES games with clearer visuals and remixed soundtracks for the Playstation. I would love to play those but they're Japanese only. Maybe I can find a way...

You have that, I have beating Mega Man 1 without using the pause trick at all. ^_^ I'll just say this then: JUMP, JUMP! SLIDE, SLIDE! *Yes, you will hear that again in MM8 once you're in Wily's castle*

Such an annoying boss. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Seriously, I was getting pissed the first time in Frost Man's stage. It was already annoying being one of those trial and error type things, but I kept accidentally sliding into pits somehow. I would be trying to jump but I guess my thumb would slightly press on the down button...Such an annoying part of that game.

Such an annoying boss. Eh, once you get the hang of his pattern, he isn't that bad. I've always had more trouble with the clone-bot until I realized that Fire Man's weapon was the best to use there. Don't worry, it's just the first level of Wily's Castle. After that you never hear it again.

Don't worry, it's just the first level of Wily's Castle. After that you never hear it again. In MM8 do you at least get to save after beating each stage in the castle? Or is it like the other games where you have to do the whole castle with the lives that you have? I'm currently stuck in MM2 on Wily Stage 2, the part where you have to dodge the spiked balls of instant death as you fall. I had like 6 lives when I got to that and wasted them all. Gonna take a break for the night lol. MegaMan is much harder without save states.
