I feel like I've been on Gamestop's website all night. Every time I try to access my Cart or Wish List, the site crashes. I won't have the words to describehow mad I'll be if when Gamestop.com starts operating properly, they'll be sold out of what I want.

Despite already owning a PS3, I ordered one the $199 bundles on Amazon, that came down to 189 after my Skyrim credit.
I also got NBA 2K12 for PS3 on Best Buy's site.
I also braved Walmart at 10 PM, and my god was it absolutely packed. I grabbed a 99 dollar Wii, an extra controller, and then 10 games.
Xbox 360 WWE All Stars
Wii Punchout Epic Mickey Zelda: Twilight Princess
PS3 FIFA 2012 Yakuza 4 Call of Duty: Black Ops God of War 3 Killzone 3 Gran Turismo 5
In total I spent 346 bucks at Walmart (before taxes). Quite a big haul for me today lol.

I just got back from my very short Black Friday shop, and I have to say Black Friday was seriously not as bad as I expected it to be.
I guess it doesn't really heat up in my town unless it's midnight or the not-so-early morning, as I remember it being hectic as all hell last year at around 10.

I'm on my first break at Walmart right now, and considering that it's Black Friday, it is DEAD. I would have fully expected the store to be jam packed with people, yet it's barely any busier than any other day.

This morning at Amazon, I picked up a Memory Stick Pro Duo 8GB for a Sony camera my parents gifted me for $20 (normally you can't touch one for $30), and pre-ordered the new Stone Cold Blu-ray. So far, that's about $100 for me (including the BB run yesterday), and I'm tapping out. Now time to save for Christmas and the future!

Eh, not doing Black Friday this year. Not that I don't want to try, but because I'm poor. I might drop by GameStop though and see if I can find anything decent for the Buy 2 Get 1 Free Used sales. And maybe Duke Nukem Forever for $10 (still don't know if it's worth that much). I'd like to get Borderlands GOTY for $20 if they have it but I might have to exert some willpower.
I did Black Friday last year and did it almost all online, except when OfficeMax.com wouldn't let me put a spindle of DVD-R's in my cart for some reason. So I just went there and back home again. Was gone maybe an hour.

I usually go out for Black Friday every other year or so. This year I went out to get some boring stuff. Maybe i'm getting old.
I did go to Target to get the LG Optimus V for my mom, since it was only 50 bucks. I did happen to have the Best Buy ad with me, so I figured I would get them to price match Madden for me. Of course they said they don't match Doorbusters, so rather than argue with then I told them nevermind about Madden.
I get all my stuff home and what's in my Target bag? Yep, Madden. I suppose them giving me a free game is better than a price match. It's a good thing I wasn't stopped at the door.

I don't know if it was here in Lexington, but one of our local news anchors was on twitter this morning talking about a woman who had a parking spot she wanted taken from her, so she returned with FECES and smeared it all over the door of the car that got it. Tis the season to be jolly...

Went out at midnight to a Walmart 10 miles down the road more in the country... didn't have what I wanted, so I went back home for about an hour and thought I'd just quit. But, I ended up going out at 1:30, I live on the same 5 mile road that has a Best Buy, Walmart, HH Gregg, and Target. Target was absolute hell... terrible. HH Gregg had a line to the cash register spiraling around the store, with a few good deals that were non Black Friday. Finally, I just went to the other Walmart and found that they had way more in stock than the store in the country, so I ended up getting an unadvertised deal, which I assume was a back up deal. Yeah, people were insane last night. I only encountered a handful of truly rude people, but jesus christ there were a million people who were moving slow as f***. It seemed like people were in a collective stupor last night... with absolutely no idea what to do. Entertaining, because I got to hear someone say "f*** staying at home... that shit's more boringer than hell." Good ol' South Carolina

I am never volunteering to work Black Friday again. I lost my voice from answering so many questions about an hour and a half and never bothered taking my break (only worked 5.5 hrs) since I was so busy and didn't want to try to walk thru the store from where I was stationed in toys to reach the breakroom.

looks like I missed out on Inception for $5 . Took a nap instead, so I bought $5 X-men instead. If Inception is still $8 after the lightning deal expires, might still get it. EDIT: And I just realized I slept through UPS's attempt to deliver my Office Space! DOUBLE NERDS! EDIT 2: Some copies of Inception must have fell through, because I was on the waitlist and I got a chance to buy Inception @$5, which I did!

Got a Camouflage-style PS3 controller for $35 (as opposed to $55) from GameStop, and bought 8 12-packs of Mountain Dew MW3 Game Fuel (4 of each flavor) for $3 a pack ($24 for 96 cans = $0.25 + $0.05 recycle deposit).
If Target continues the $3 12-pack sale, I may buy more tomorrow.

But if that gets down to around a hundred dollars... yeah, over at the Blu-Ray forum(GuyOfOwnage & I represent!), I said the $160-$170 price point is nice, but it's going to have to get significantly cheaper for me to budge. Why did I have to say that?
