I don't usually do Black Friday, but after napping last night from 10pm till midnight, I figured I drive the couple miles to target.
I got there at 12:30am and they still had a bunch of their TV deals (I think 40inch was the biggest) but I didnt need one though. I did stock up on DVDs (ill try and remember their prices)
- I got 3 different seasons of Seinfeld: $7.95 each - It's Always Sunny season 6 for $15 - How I Met Your Mother season 6 for $15 - 30 Rock seasons 1 & 2 for $7.95 each - Parks and Rec seasons 1 & 2 for 7.95 each - Hall pass for $6 - Bridesmaids for $10
Non-DVDs - Got two books for my mom and sister in law (no sale though) - HDMI cable - $10 - George Foreman Grill - $25
All in all, I spent $180. I spent about 90 minutes there. I walked through the store a few times for an hour. Stood in line for about 3 minutes. Figured everything was good to go. I went to pay with the my card and their system went down so no cards worked. Stood in customer service for about 20 minutes. I then decided to take money out of the ATM. As soon as I did, cards started to work again.
There is a Game Stop next to target, so I tarded in SvR 10 and SvR 11 and got WWE 12. This wasn't a sale either, but after trade ins I think I spent $45 for it.
I ended up playing WWE 12 from about 2am-5am.
I will say though, Target did have some great deals that made the trip worth it. If I had more money, I would have gotten a coffee maker (I think it was $20). Probably would have bought a new iPod, but all iPods and iPads were sold out when I got there.

So, I went down to my local store (don't have any wal-marts, k-marts, best buys, etc.) and they got nothing worthwhile for Black Friday.
Some games buy one get one Free, but you wouldn't take some of them for Free no matter what.

Not strictly Black Friday, as I'm in the UK, but I just got Deus Ex and KOTOR on Steam for £8.

Lost isn't cheap enough.
Blerg! Wish I wouldn't have been asleep when the UPS Deliverer came. Oh well, next week will be crazy. I'll get like, a dozen or so movies.

Amazon has some great deals. Picked up Mad Men Seasons 1-4 on Blu-Ray for $9 a piece last night. Also got lucky today and bought Bob Dylan: The Original Mono Recordings box set for $52. I say lucky because they sold out in 10 minutes!

So, went to Gamestop, picked up:
Buy 2 Get 1 Free Used Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter (Wii) for my sister's family Clue/Mouse Trap/Perfection/Aggravation (DS) for my other sister DJ Hero (Wii) for myself
And I bought Duke Nukem Forever new for $10. Still wondering if it's even worth that much.

Did my shopping online. I only had like $40 to shop with today which sucks but it's more than I had last black friday lol. Picked up Episodes of Liberty City for my 12 year old sister...yes I'm irresponsible. Found a touch screen Sudoku game for my mom too.

The UPS Man or Woman and I are going to become pretty friendly over the next week or so. Got a movie on Wednesday, slept through a delivery today, and then have deliveries of multiple movies every day of next week.

Black Friday was a f***ing nightmare over here. I couldn't walk through the store for s***. Not to forget I had to wait until I got off work, so I was actually getting there after most people had gotten in. I still had to wait in a long ass line. The checkout line was wrapped around the aisles, after one hour we only advanced through one aisle. So I left to a different store. I ended up wasting 3 and half hours in those hells holes for nothing. I just went home empty handed and went to bed, since I couldn't bear the wait in line to save 10 or 20 bucks. I have to say it was kind of fun to experience it for the first time. I went back today to scavenge through the left overs. I got Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2 for 15 bucks each so I was happy. I also just got the lighting deal on Amazon for Batman:AC for 28 bucks a few minutes ago. I was lucky it sold out in under a minute. Finally I got Dark Souls for 35 bucks. I have a rule about spending more than 30 bucks on a game but screw it, it's Dark Souls. Over all it was a fun first time experience. I will not be returning next year though. Unless you really really want something and are willing to get there super early it is not worth the wait to save a few bucks. :/ Online is a better option if you can be there the second a deal becomes available.

Here is the most random fact of my day:
My copies of The Fellowship of the Ring & Gran Torino are emanating from Sparks, NV. I've ordered from Amazon a ton, and usually my movies come from Texas or Lexington, KY. Why is this notable? Sparks is where my grandparents met(they worked together in the Sparks meat packing plant. The joke was/is that before you see Hell, you see Sparks, considering it's extremely southern Nevada placement).

Target put the Wii bundle that comes with Mario and the new Zelda back online for 4 dollars more. So instead of 189 for the bundle it was 193. I went ahead and snagged it. Still not a bad price.

You're welcome. Unfortunately it's now only 15% off on orders of $50 or more, but there's still the free shipping. Yesterday had the 20% off, with no min. order.
