My biggest pet peeve on TV was during the last writer's strike when, instead of rerunning the shows they had on, they just HAD to add MORE reality shows.
I understand that it was necessary to fill programming space that was left empty, but we did not need to see yet another season of Survivor so soon after the last one.

Preccocious kid characters who manage to dodge punishments by being cute. The only one that was ever cool was Tahj Mowry in Smart Guy, because he was an actual character rather than a device to give the protagonist some conflict. You know, like the annoying little sisters in Kenan and Kel and Drake and Josh, and D.W. on Arthur. D.W. is the absolute worst. I remember that episode where she throws his model plane out of the window and he hits her out of anger...sweet justice haha

Just saw one. How is it in horror flicks the chasee is running but the chaser is walking but the chasee can't create distance and get away?

I hate horror movie morality. I don't care about the supposed mythology, it would be nice to see the interesting girl who is not phallophobic make it to the end.

You know that happens a lot more than you'd think. For example, in Friday the 13th Part 2 Ginny very clearly has sex with Paul (yeah it's offscreen but it's very heavily implied) and she survives right to the end. In fact as far as I can recall the only Friday the 13th survivor who is catagorically stated to be a virgin is Lori from Freddy v Jason (though you can probably infer that Tommy Jarvis and Tina Shepherd are as well given their upbringing). Speaking of the Nightmare on Elm Street serious is good about that as well since a point of those movies were that it doesn't matter who you are or what you do, Freddy will get you.

First of all DW is amazing lay off. Second the writer's strike reality rush brought us one more season of "The Mole" so I will be eternally grateful for that (and it was Big Brother that got an extra season, not Survivor, Survivor is always two a year, Notorius is right though Big Brother 9 was pretty unbearably awful).

Showing characters being considerably younger in the past, and instead of recasting for a younger lookalike or using advanced CGI (which Fringe did really well with John Noble), they just slap a wig on the character and call it a day. The most annoying examples I can think off of the top of my head were with Ben on the 5th season of Lost, and Dexter from a couple of seasons ago with a mophead. LOST was really hit & miss with how well the actors could look younger. Locke, Michael, Sun, & Jin all were pretty believable looking. But yeah, the Ben one was pretty laughable.

When it comes to the older character playing themselves in a flashback I thought it was funny when Always Sunny did it and just put a wig on Danny Devito and even made the comment about how he looked like he was 12.
Of course I think that has more to do with the way people looked being how the gang was imagining them so they just put a wig on Frank

I hate the generic horror movie trailer, you know what I'm talking about, the seasonal horror movie that is made to lure in dumb teens.

SyFy dumbing down science fiction.
Their movies are embarassments, especially those produced by The Asylum.
I recommend that they either focus on intelligent sci-fi or create a spin-off brand called "B-Movies" and dump the garbage onto it.
