twitter.com/#!/RealTimeWWII This guy is Tweeting news from 1939 (and beyond) as if it's new throughout the next 6 years (apparently). May turn out to be nonsense but if it's accurate I think it'll be pretty cool.

Sounds pretty interesting, and if it's accurate, could be an awesome little reference piece, worthy of a book even. Imagine someone citing a Twitter account on their college thesis

HOPEFULLY not breaching a politics rule here (please don't hurt me if I am) but the JFK library has been doing something similar, tweeting information from their archives on every day of JFK's presidential run and presidency.
@kennedy1961 if you are interested.
But yeah, following the WWII thing now too.
