Universal Chief Ron Meyer trashes numerous Universal Films.A quick summary: “We make a lot of s***ty movies,” Meyer admitted. “Every one of them breaks my heart.” Cowboys & Aliens wasn’t good enough. Forget all the smart people involved in it, it wasn’t good enough...All those little creatures bouncing around were crappy. I think it was a mediocre movie, and we all did a mediocre job with it.” " Certainly you couldn’t have more talented people involved in Cowboys & Aliens, but it took, you know, ten smart and talented people to come up with a mediocre movie. " “ Land of the Lost was just crap...I mean, there was no excuse for it. The best intentions all went wrong.” " Scott Pilgrim, I think, was actually kind of a good movie. [Addressing a small section of the audience, cheering.] But none of you guys went! And you didn’t tell your friends to go! But, you know, it happens.” Wolfman and Babe 2 are two of the s***tiest movies we put out, but by the same token we made movies we believe in. More on Wolfman: "The director was wrong. Benicio [del Toro] stunk. It all stunk. On the failed Tower Heist VOD idea (Releasing the movie VOD 2 weeks into theatrical release for over $60 per rental) “If someone’s going to get our movies two weeks after they’re released, then they have to pay a premium for that… We still think that’s a valid model.” “I think there are a lot of people who won’t go to the theater and are happy to pay a premium price — whether $66 is the right price, or it’s more or less.”

No one in their right mind would pay $60 to see a movie, and anyone who would even try to charge that much for it is a complete moron. Hell, I wouldn't see Dark Knight Rises for that price even if it was exclusive to it.

Hey, Del Toro was one of the good things about Wolfman. If you want to complain, complain about all those over the top death and murder scenes.

Hey don't bag on Benicio del Toro, man! The dude went through all the trouble of shaving for The Wolfman.

To be honest, for a family of 4 or more, $60 for a movie could be a bargain. Especially after you factor in the snack bar.

I'd love to see more studio chiefs shoot on their movies, I wanna hear what Sony/ Columbia really feel about Adam Sandler.

Though I'm glad to see someone in Hollywood admit that they shovel out crap, the guy still seems a bit butthurt about it. Yeah, he liked Scott Pilgrim but then rags on the paying audience for not being big enough.

I think the shot at Babe 2 is completely random in the context of things.

I think the shot at Babe 2 is completely random in the context of things. It's been eating him up the last 13 years.

Benecio del Toro was the last thing wrong with The Wolfman. He was honestly the only good part.

I think the shot at Babe 2 is completely random in the context of things. It's been eating him up the last 13 years. I love the idea of a man whose life is torn apart from guilt for his involvement with 'Babe 2,' believing every punishment he's had since isn't penance enough for complacency in letting it happen.
