Getting close to that time of year (kinda, sorta), so I figured I'd start this up.
Whats everyone going as for Halloween.
This will be the first time in a llllooooooonnnggg time I've dressed up. My buddys getting married a week before, and is having a Halloween party/reception on the 29th.
Already made up my mind, I'm going as a Jedi. Trying to find something cheap online, not working overly well.
My buddies got it in his head apparently, to go as Darth Maul, and when he and his wife are announced, he wants me to attack him and us have some epic lightsaber duel. Now, his fiancee is really cool, but I'm not sure she'd go for that lol.

I'm going as a referee, just so I can blow a whistle and yell at people in the office.

Haven't dressed up since high school, and I'm not about to start now. The most I'm going to do is begrudgingly help my wife unpack the Halloween decorations (for the approximately 0 people besides us who actually see our condo)

We decorated up this year. A friend is having a party, and unless I think of something better (but just as easy) I am going to use the same costume I did last time I dressed up (about 2 years ago). Nick Fury. I just spray my temples white and put on a black trenchcoat and eye patch.

I'm thinking of going as Sin Cara and communicating everything in point form.

Have a retro t-shirt, have a leather jacket, have a pair of black boots, so I dropped $20 for a phony kilt to finish a Roddy Piper outfit.
Debating if I should look for a decent early 90's Roddy mullet wig.

Not sure. Thinking about Hunter S Thompson, mostly cause I already got a lot of the components in my closet.

I'm going as a referee, just so I can blow a whistle and yell at people in the office. I went as a blind ref two years ago. Don't know about this year though, maybe something original.

Not sure. Thinking about Hunter S Thompson, mostly cause I already got a lot of the components in my closet. Not to talk you out of this, but two years ago at what is generally a really safe area in Toronto (Bathurst/College, an area filled with trendy bars and restaurants), a guy was repeatedly stabbed by somebody who didn't like his Halloween costume. That costume? Hunter S. Thompson. Now, keep in mind the assailant was drunk and stupid, but it still freaked me out because I was thinking about going as him that year, too, but at the last minute decided on Pee-Wee Herman.

Looking online, I may end up making my jedi costume. Seems fairly easy, and cheaper.

Dr. Orpheus from Venture Bros.
I've figured this out since like last year considering I had a good chunk of the costume already. Already have a shirt, tie, and smoking jacket from when I went as Hugh Hefner a few years ago. Bought a cape and amulet (though I still want to find a better looking "Dracula trophy") last weekend. Been growing a goatee out since the beginning of the year and need to grow a mustache. So really all I need to do is grey my hair. And get some pinstripe pants and wingtip shoes if I can find them for cheap.

I'm probably going to go as a Legends of the Hidden Temple contestant; I still need to order the shirt. I'm leaning Purple Parrot unless I can be convinced otherwise.

I don't know yet. I have finally met a bunch of friends and all here but not sure if they'll throw a party.
Heck maybe I'll be the one to throw it, not sure. I'd have to double check with my roommate and all.
