A lot of DVD/Blu-Ray Discs come loaded with a lot of bonus/special features. Some people watch them, some couldn't care less. What's your stance on them?
Discuss.

Love em, in fact, i refuse to buy dvds (at least at full price) that dont have special features. Its the reason why i dont own any of the rocky movies (aside from 1 and 6) on dvd.

I voted "it depends." I always watch stuff like deleted scenes and outtakes as well as listen to the commentary track at least once but a lot of the "making of the movie" featurettes don't do much for me so I rarely if ever watch those.

Yes, if I really like the film.

I like the making of the movie segments where they talk about the development of the movie. Theres an excellent feature on the superman box set called" Taking Flight: The development of Superman" that discusses exactly how long it took just to get the film off the ground and the struggles in casting.

I prefer to buy them if they have commentary tracks and or deleted scenes. If they dont have worthy bonus content I'm less likely to buy them. I most definetly watch them all if they are there.

if I really hate something I don't even bother
or if I'm totally wowed by something usually I forget to after I watch the credits roll and get to them upon a second viewing

I like it when movies that you wouldn't think any one would care enough to add special features to get them.Moving Violations comes to mind.I suppose Neil Israel was just board.

Love them. It's why I get the super-duper mega-deluxe editions of the movies, to get all the extras. It's especially cool for movies like Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind and so on.

I buy more expensive versions just for the extra ... extras.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I have such a huge backlog of DVDs and Blu-rays to watch that I don't always have the time to sit through every single solitary extra on the disc.

Eventually, but by no means are they a priority.

Honestly, it depends on the extras though. Featurettes and Making-Of stuff, I'm all over. Commentaries depends. But I won't buy anything that doesn't have any special features unless it's super cheap. Also, Digital Copies can go to hell since I usually pick up the movie by the time the Digital Copy has expired.

I haven't, no. I don't have enough time as it is to watch a movie, let alone sit for another 2 hours to watch all the extra stuff.

Yeah, I've not bothered with the digital copy thing for any of the movies I've gotten that have included it. Not clogging my computer up with movies I could get for like ten dollars if I needed to replace them. How it tends to be with me is I'll watch the special features the third or fourth time I watch something, which as a result means I don't generally watch them for Netflix stuff. Only thing from Netflix I've rewatched before sending back was Summer Wars... which actually I'm planning to pick up my own copy of since that movie's awesome.

I am a special feature whore. Give me a choice between a one disc barebones and a two disc loaded, give me the loaded! I listen to the commentaries, the featurettes, and even the tickers for f-bombs in a movie!

I don't really care for them. Its a disc that I'll probably watch only once, so I'd rather get the single disc release of a movie.
