Michael Coello reviews this in his first DVD Dissection article: www.freakinawesomenetwork.com/2011/12/dvd-dissection/Who else has seen this? I did a few days ago and loved it! Very funny, well written and has two very likable leads (Dale is so loveable). P.S. Welcome aboard Mikey! Glad to have you! Great first article!

I remember hearing about this movie nearly 2 1/2 years ago and being really interested in seeing it, mostly because I was familiar with Chelan Simmons and thought she was incredibly hot, but also because it looked really funny. I kept waiting but it never showed up in theaters. Finally it showed up on Netflix and I click on it, only to have it placed in the "Saved DVD" section with an unknown availability date, where it stayed for the next year and a half. I FINALLY saw it about a month ago when I discovered it was on Time Warner Cable Movies on Demand.
It was very funny too, nice send-up to all the "inbred hillbilly" horror movies of the past. Glad I got the chance to watch it.

First off, thanks for the welcome, Yellowjacket. I will say that I like the movie, especially the chemistry between Tucker and Dale, along with Dale and Allison. The teens were nothing character wise, but didn't matter. The only person I never really enjoyed was Chaz, the head of the group, though I wasn't suppose to in the long run, anyway. It is definitely a movie that just works cause of the title characters. {Spoiler}I will say the big reveal of Chaz being part hillbilly felt a bit much, but I did like seeing Dale go from nervous goof to ass kicker with the rescue in the mill.

What a great movie. Completely flown under the mainstream radar.
I honestly can't remember laughing as hard at a movie in years. It's genuinely funny, and it brings something a little new to the table.

I liked it quite a bit, but I didn't get what the first scene had to do with the rest of the flick.
