now my 3ds will let my pokemon black version connect to it, what is the point of it outside of getting pokemon without trading from heart-gold/soul-silver etc.
does it give you some decent pokemon?
(only just started using it due to not really liking th 5th gen of the games.)

It COULD give you some good Pokemon.
It will, for sure, give you Pokemon with abilities they don't naturally have.
Also, it is the ONLY way of getting non-Gen 5 Pokemon before beating the game without cheating.

And it's the only way to get some types of berries. |

cheers, i can transfer 90% of those over from my other games. i'll still give it a go for a while until i either forget it exists or i get bored of the game. also means i'll have to breed my original starters again to transfer over. |
