I can sympathize with the guy, to an extent. I've dealt with people like that at an old job, and the worst of them can really get to you. That said, nothing justifies beating someone with a club.
They both deserved to be punished.

Remember from that episode of The Boondocks with Stinkmeaner? About a certain...type of moment people have?
This is it to the f***ing letter.

Nah this ain't a n***a moment, you see that could only happen if the man was not walking away. He was walking away and the 2 went after him, he honestly had 2 choices, either get his ass kicked or kick ass. You don't know what kind of weapon those 2 could have had, but they gonna throw the book at him.

Usually, I don't condone violence. But I definitely do when someone has it coming.
Those two idiots jumping the counter, definitely had it coming.
Surely, those young ladies will think twice about turning gangsta on a dude thinking that he won't defend himself, even if he's at work or not.

This is the kind of things we are talking about in our Paralegal class. The guy I think will be in trouble for using unnecessary force. Now if the people jumped the counter and he hit them once because they were going to fight him, that's self defense. However he uses the pipe multiple times. The 2nd hit pretty much knocked the attacker out cold, after that he hits the attacker about 7 more times when the attacker is no longer of a threat. Therefor being unnecessary force.

He kept telling them to stay down, and again, they could use time to get up and reach for a gun. Not safe enough to think about stopping, put em down for the count.

Sorry, but that made me smile. People these days, they deserve to be beaten with golf clubs; man, woman, child, whatever.
Anyone who plays the customer service game with these sub-humans understands.
Sadly, no one will learn anything and the only real damage done here will be to Ronald McDonald's wallet.
Dude will continue to be a roughneck until the day it kills him and bitch's mouth will only run harder when her check finally gets there.

That's kind of what I was thinking. If they're jumping the counter at McDonalds for God's sake...who knows what they may have on them. You put them down and you make sure they're not getting up. Not worth the risk in that case.

Chances are she thought, with him being a man and the way our society works, she thought she could kick his ass and he wouldn't do anything. I think he may have gone a little too far, but I say good on him for defending himself. The way I see it is, if you have balls (well, you know what I mean) big enough to jump over the counter and threaten me, female or male, you better expect for me to defend myself.

Jumping over the counter at a place you don't work is like jumping into a wrestling ring during a show. If you get your ass kicked, the employees are simply defending themselves because they don't know what your intent is. This woman deserved a beat down.
That being said, I do think he went a little overboard, but sometimes in the heat of the moment like that you don;t realize when you should stop.
What was he whacking her with by the way?

In a moment like this there is no logical thinking. It's fight or flight and where was the guy going to run to? His adrenaline was pumping and he beat them down. Did he keep going past the point of necessity? Perhaps, but at one point should he have stopped? At what point would it have been safe? He wasn't able to think that through, so he kept going to keep them down out of fear.
I think the guy is innocent

Those two ghetto b****es got what they deserved. You jump a counter to ASSAULT someone, you deserve to get assaulted. Tough crap that he messed them up, I personally would have done the same damn thing. They earned it.

So he was in prison at a very young age since he shot a fellow classmate when he went in... Not to go too far into politics but when you do a long stint like that in prison at such an impressionable age, mentally it just messes you up seemingly worse when you go back into normal life and are no longer abiding by "prison rules"... Now the waiting game for when the idiot customer files a huge lawsuit against McDonalds.... Yeah, that's what I was thinking, it's like he has PTSD or something. He's acting like he's in a prison riot.

...Why did he even HAVE a golf club?
Yes...out of this whole situation, that's the only detail that bothers me.

way I see it, in situations like that, there's no such thing as "unnecessary force". you don't know what the other person is going to pull, better to be safe than sorry. you pull shit like that, you put your life in your own hands.

He was totally justified. Two women attacked him, he had no idea if they were armed, he defended himself. And while he should not have hit them when they were down, adrenaline makes it hard to control yourself sometimes.
I want to find out this guys information and contribute to a legal defense fund for him.
