Why do they keep on pushing Rey Mysterio Jr?! 3 time world champion? It's ridiculous. Not believeable and his offense is shot now that his knees are gone. It's time for him to start putting over younger talent like Cowboy Orton Jr and the Prototype.

I was thinking about old angles, and during the Invasion, when Mean Mark showed up as Kimberly's stalker, it made alot of sense. Did you ever see his first wife? Paper bag job if I've ever seen one. It just didn't make alot of sense that he ended up jobbing to Kimberly.
He was pretty over in the WWF and they didn't take advantage of it.
I could do these all day. lol

That K-kwik/ Billy Gunn WWF Title match on Nitro killed the WWF revival

That K-kwik/ Billy Gunn WWF Title match on Nitro killed the WWF revival Yeah it's unfortunate they chose those 2 of all people to spearhead the revival. Especially since Billy Gunn was never the same after Road Dogg embraced his Armstrong heritage and went on to become one of the greatest US champs of all time. Now what did everything think of RAGE IN THE CAGE last night? I gotta admit, I never saw the end coming. Vince Russo declares that he was working with Goldberg the entire time, Goldberg cashes in his Feast or Fired contract from 2007 (see, they didn't forget!) then walks out as WCW champion. Now it seems pretty obvious we're going to get Sid/Goldberg; what with Sid revving his motorcycle at the top of the ramp to end the PPV. Also the Villano IV / Villano V match last night was pretty good, not sure why everyone's hating on it.

It's time for him to start putting over younger talent like Cowboy Orton Jr and the Prototype. WCW really had a bias against small wrestlers, so I don't think Mysterio, Jericho, or Eddie would've been allowed to have a run with the main title.

I hear Taker's coming back to promot the "Best of RAW" DVD
Too bad the WCW really dropped the ball bringing him over with the whole "Kimberly Page Stalker" angle

So yeah, it has been 3 months since the infamous SHOOT promo from Palumbo, at this point I don't know when is a work, or when is a shoot.
And semi off topic, but the f*** is with Helms and Moore? After the revival of 3 count and the posterior world title run of moore, they had been acting really weird, Helms even posted on his Dailymotion Account that he will commit suicide, but later he apologized from myspace
The hardy boys were less succesfull, but at least they had their minds clean

wrestling is too sport oriented these days and southern. i wish we could go back to the 80s, 90s when it was more cartoony and kid friendly. those were the days. I miss the WWF! I hate the WCW corporate machine! I don't care if Eric Bischoff is a genius bazillionaire. His son also throws a terrible worked punch whenever he wrestles.

I hate the WCW corporate machine! I don't care if Eric Bischoff is a genius bazillionaire. His son also throws a terrible worked punch whenever he wrestles. The only thing that I really hate is when Tony Schiavone starts drilling all those stupid catchphrases during his commentary. Trying to push that we're watching a legit sport. Yeah I get it, we're not fans, we're the WCW Mothership. And they're not "Superstars", they're Professional Wrestlers. How long until Bisch decides to rename Starrcade to "Pro WrestlerCade"?!? And yeah Lorenzo, I actually forgot about Palumbo's SHOOT! Goes to show how hectic things are right now. I thought it was a worked shoot at first, but then he mentioned Hogan going bald, and I really doubt Hulk would have let that into the script. Plus when he mentioned the competition: "Maybe I should go BACK to Vince McMahon at XWL!!! Hey Billy Gunn..... how ya doing?" I thought this would lead to Billy Gunn on WCW TV again (he was really misused in the past, and finding out that Dusty Rhodes made fun of him for being a Christian explained a lot), but other than that one dark match before Thunder where he lost to Alex Wright, nothing's happened. Maybe some kind of stable for World War III? I could see Billy Gunn, Chuck Palumbo, and maybe The New Road Warriors (Heidenreich and D Lo Brown) taking on the Corporate NWO.

Also the Villano IV / Villano V match last night was pretty good, not sure why everyone's hating on it. RAGE IN A CAGE was probably the best PPV of the year, WAAAAY better than the ending to "Clash of the Champions" last month...why the HELL did COO JokerSting go over Palumbo, who's been RED HOT since his shoot - and what were Helms and Moore doing out there to beat down BOTH of them, with JJ Dillon at ringside on his beeper, and why did they HAVE to have "Big" Paul Wight interfere AGAIN? He can't work a program anymore, so why are they using him? I understand that they're trying to push NWO Orange with Paul Heyman, Wight, 3 Count and Sid v. the new NWO India with Khali, Sonjay Dutt, Jinder Mahal, Daivari and Bret Hart (although the reveal that Bret is secretly indian WAS pretty shocking) as the main angle, but the fans just aren't buying it... ...on a better note though, Swoll has improved SO much over the last few years that I was glad to see him "bringing some prestige" back to the US title last night by reviving the old design. If the rumors of him main eventing Starrcade this year v. Sid are true, then good for him, he's earned it - plus Sid's already had 81 title runs (83 if you count the whole Hogan/Metallica/Shawn Michaels/Rob Van Dam/Sanders/Russo debacle from Bash at the Beach '08, but since they retconned everything between Bischoff selling the company to MTV in May '08 to Dana White buying it and making UFC a WCW brand in early '09, I don't) Also, I couldn't have been the only one who marked out last night for Ric Flair's 450 splash off of the 'tron onto O'Haire...how he started bleeding in MIDAIR I don't think we'll ever know!!!!!! Plus with Gunner, Crimson, and British Bulldog Jr, it seems like the Power Plant is turning out future stars every day. Shame there wasn't enough room for the Prototype on the roster, he was a really good heel...but I suspect he'll be back soon. Can't wait to see what DDT Digest has to say about Nitro tonight!!!!

The Child's Play remake with Rick Steiner was legitimately terrifying. And Robocop 4 wasn't very good, but the part where he bent those steel bars and Sid freaked out was decent. Sid should stick to playing horror movie characters like in Eye Scream Man. That was an Oscar worthy performance, DAMNIT!

Why are they putting a wrestling show on Turner Classic Movies? Well we already have Nitro on TNT. Thunder's on TBS, and we already have tons of people complaining about that. "Duhhh the network's tagline is 'very funny' I don't wanna see wrestling." WCW needed somewhere to put the new season of LST, although this season's batch of rookies is kind of pathetic. I mean, Roderick Strong, what kind of weird fake name is that? This will be good for the network in the long run, keep in mind that Nitro is the longest running weekly episodic show in TV history, and Thunder's about to be #2. LST will still get decent ratings, probably the highest on TCM. It's a win win. Now one thing I still can't believe was Bischoff's short term foray into competitive eating, the X-treme Eating League. I've heard he blew millions on that whole thing; especially on that big stadium they built.
