I honestly dont mind a JBL/Cena year long reign, hell, I almost prefer them.
The title shouldnt be changing hands 12 times a year, it's rediculous
EDIT: When you factor in that there are 2 world titles being hotshot, it makes it worse. Not too far down the road, everyone will be a former champion

Del Rio is probably my favorite guy in WWE right now, so happy to see him get the belt back! I also hope he gets to stick with it for a little while and beat up on some people to make him seem a more serious threat in the ring.

Cena should never have won at NOC. Del Rio is a betetr champ than Cena. Hell, ANYONE is.

I have no problem with a heel champ and a face doing the chasing. ADR is fine as champion, though I think he has room for growth. My problem is it just feels like ADR went over so Cena can win it back in a month to get a step closer. I know I'm probably being cynical, but it is what it is.

Has to be one of the most pointless title reigns EVER. I thought they made the switch so all the upcoming Rock press would get the WWE champ in, but my God, utterly pointless. JC face.

Ok lets start with the obvious,The wwe title is on the same level as the replica belt I bought at the mall,The difference being it's provenance if the wwe title is given to camera guy 3 who loses it to the popcorn vendor who goes onto lose it to the valet parking guy I guarantee the fans, wrestlers,or anyone will not care about it anymore. I used the WCW title as a prime example of an extremely prestigious belt going from highly regarded to meaning nothing. And when the WWE actually hands it's title to a camera guy you'll have a point. And the WCW title was never THAT highly prestigious. Yes it was,Before vince bought the wwf from his father the big three belts were this(In no particular order): WWWF championship,NWA World Championship and the AWA world championship, Once the 80's rolled around it changed to these three (Also no order)WWF Championship,WCW World Championship and NWA World Championship. This was a title that was the focal point of many of the most memorable angles in the mid 80's it only started losing value when it got hot potatoed. Currently the WWE championship still has value obviously,And i'll conceede a few quick changes don't hurt it to greatly,But after awhile the fans will get the impression this belt must not mean much if it's just tossed around,The belt is not immune to devaluation,It is a prop,It is only worth as much as it's booked to be worth.

hotshotting back to Del Rio is a good idea only because maybe he'll start to get over.

Hmm... So we put the title right back on ADR.
As if people think this time around ratings will get better with Del Rio as champ? His character is still the same old same old. It should have been Punk winning solidifying himself as the best over Cena and ADR. He is the top merch seller after all.. At least with the shirt sales.
I dunno if people don't care about the world title, as much as they just don't care about Del Rio. The guy has no heat, is not over,

The guy has no heat, is not over, I feel the WWE really, REALLY wants Del Rio to be a huge star for their company, and hotshotting the belt on Del Rio will instantly make fans care. The problem is, like foreveryoung said, people don't care about Del Rio. At least now they gave him a legit win, but that shows that the WWE is trying way to hard with him. I always find it hard to react to someone I don't really care about, just because the WWE wants me to. I don't have a problem with WWE trying to make new stars, or even that Del Rio is the guy they want to groom. That's fine, Del Rio is talented. I wish they would have taken their time with him. Give him an IC or US title run, give him time to develop his character and the fans time to warm up to him. Instead, they rushed his push and it shows. And as a result, I really don't care about the WWE Title situation. There's too many other, better things going on in WWE than a stale, redundant, mediocre WWE Champion.

Another theory, maybe WWE realized that the way ADR won his first belt was a poor way to go since they want to make him a big deal, so had Cena win at NOC and then had ADR win in a more decisive (albiet still cowardly) way.
I'm full of theories tonight...

I'm full of theories tonight... But it wasn't decisive because he didn't pin Cena, which will lead to promo after promo of Cena talking about winning back the title that he never lost.

And the office seems to think as if they just put the belt on someone that will just instantly make someone care about them. The people need to care in them in the first place before they are world champs. Watching the ME last night, I saw crowd reactions for Punk and Cena, no one gave a ***** Del Rio was there. And THIS is the guy you want for world champ? Someone no one gives a crap about? Don't get me wrong I like ADR but you may as well put the title on Morrison right now too .. No one cares about him anymore either. ADR should have been built properly until he was really ready for the spot when he had the right heat and people cared about him.

Pretty Happy to see him win. The two week Cena reign was a stupid waste of time.
