Well at least it means Cena probably won't have the title at Survivor Series

Its official. It'll be a 5 on 5 match. SS is a big deal this year.
I hope its Rock/Cena/Punk/Sheamus/Orton. They won't take a single pin. Or better yet put Ryder on the team to fill out. That'd be huge for him.

Well, if it's 5-on-5, I'd say they REALLY pile it on and give us
Or trade out Hunter for Orton and Nash for Henry.
Either way, I LOVE traditional Survivor Series elimination matches, especially when they're treated as an integral part of the show, so this is an auto-buy for me.

Listening to the Observer's Breaking News Audio on this, and apparently the plan is: {Spoiler} Rock, Cena, Punk, and Sheamus vs. Del Rio, Miz, Truth and one other guy (I'd guess Christian, if he's still a heel at that point) {Spoiler}That would make for a great match...if they were to give the heels a chance (or even a win). With that many big names in that match it will also give chance for others to fill out the card, that may not normally get on ppv. Either way I am rather interested in this years edition of SS, which I think is what they want from all of this to begin with

Cena and Rock compete to see who can eliminate the most members of the opposing team, they both eliminate 2 before tagging in their other 2 partners, they then proceed to each pin one of them as well.

So what's the over-under on WWE repeating the classic Megapowers vs. Twin Towers Survivor Series 88 match layout?
Rock (Savage) gets handcuffed to the turnbuckle by the heels, leaving Cena (Hogan) to soldier on against all odds to win the match all by himself, leaving the future WM opponents (Hogan/Savage, Rock/Cena) as the sole survivors.
It could absolutely work (unless the savvy NYC fans recognize what they're doing), as it makes for great drama. In fact, it could probably come across as relatively fresh if they hadn't just had Cena win an elimination match against all odds two weeks ago.

They aren't in a match. They both get locked in a storage cupboard and they have to overcome their dislike of each other and become friends in order to escape.

I'm thinking they'll team up to take on a group of guys lead by CM Punk. Overall, I'd rather not see Rock wrestle until WM28, but if this does come to pass I wouldn't mind seeing that. The obvious poor chemistry on the Rock/Cena team could easily result in a credibility-boosting win for Punk (and his team).

I am so glad now that Summerslam got moved from the Garden and we got Survivor Series instead now! This will probably be the best WWE show I've gone to yet.
Anyway in terms of the match, if they limit it to Raw guys, the best way to go would probably be:
John Cena, The Rock, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne vs. Alberto Del Rio, Triple H, Kevin Nash, The Miz, R-Truth

Rock, Cena, Zack Ryder Air Boom
Vs
Del Rio, The Awesome Truth Swagger Ziggler
leaving room for the WHC title match (or rematch rather), Cody Vs Ted possibly for the IC title, Maybe another washroom break aka a divas survivor series match, and Punk continuing his campaign against the front offices through either another HHH match or possibly getting Nash, who seems to be wrestling ricky morton which raises what exactly kept him from passing the physical in the first place.

One match in the entire night. The Rock and John Cena team with Randy Orton against every single other person on the roster and in FCW. {Spoiler}Cena, Rock and Orton win.

I don't like it. They need to save the Rock for Mania in my opinion. Yep and I'm a HUGE Rock mark too

I was mesmerized by the rocks nose for a couple of minutes there.
WTF happened to it?..... It goes from his bottom lip to the back of his head.

It would make the most sense and would add to the Punk storyline.

Ok, I'm predicting The Rock, John Cena, Hornswaggle, Percy Watson and Titus O'Neil vs. Brodus Clay, Ricardo Rodriguez, Rosa Mendes, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks.

With Rock wrestling at Survivor Series (for the first time in ten years mind you) part of me now wants some type of showdown with HHH
Why? Because at the same event and same arena Rock had his very first WWF/E match 15 years ago he was against at team that included HHH.
Just feels poetic.

This is awesome because I'm flying from the UK to have a week in New York and see survivor series while I'm there But I hope they change it to Team Cena v Team Rock. Guess they want to save any match against each other till WM
