This is the only thread which roams the landscape like a tyrannosaurus rex. Since I don't believe I can post fcw footage and I think this clip is an awesome summing up of who dean is. (language warning) Let's appreciate this great man and the lynchian insanity he's brought to wrestling.

He's certainly unique and he can go in the ring. Though I do find his mannerisms to be a bit much sometimes. Still, I look forward to seeing him on the main roster just to see what they do with him. He's not the typical indy guy that is short on charisma but huge on ring work...he's unlike anybody else that WWE has had to work with in the modern era. The question is, is that going to help or hinder his career?

Oh man, can't wait for him to be called up! Whats he using for his finisher these days? I believe he's still using the One Hitter (the pseudo Schwein one/suplex DDT), he's used it a fair bit in FCW anyhow. EDIT: and I'm a Moxley fan, so glad he's running with all his mannerisms/moves/interview techniques in FCW. The best prospective heel for the WWE by a long shot.

I'm going to go on record right now- 8th March 2012- and say that not even WWE Creative are dumb enough to not see what they have in Dean Ambrose. This is a guy who could legitimately be hated by the fans, he really could be the top heel in WWE within a year. If he is used right then he is an absolute lock as a future WWE champ.

well he has been touring with the main roster on the house show circuit and won a match earlier this week so I think it's safe to say they know what they have. Plus guys like Regal and Punk have been very complimentary

Oh man, can't wait for him to be called up! Whats he using for his finisher these days? He's been using the Regal Stretch lately since he's feuding with William Regal.

I got really confused by him at first. Everyone raved about him and when he debuted in FCW I was shocked to find that I hated him. Really really really didn't like him.
It took me a few weeks to realise it wasn't anything to do with his talent. I actually was having a proper reaction to a heel. That just doesn't happen anymore - they're either awesome or crap. If he can do that with a girl who loves bad guys like me, I think he's definitely got some great potential.
I've really liked a lot of his indy promos that I've sought out too. His feud with Regal has been nothing short of exceptional - easily one of my favourites of the last year and Regal has been putting him over SO much. Plus that match with Punk, surely they have to realise they've got a future megastar heel here.
The only thing I have to say is that I really hate the name (not as much as Kassius Ohno!) but it doesn't seem to suit the character at all. Dean Ambrose sounds like the loser nerd who got picked on in school, not a WWE champion.

i remember first seeing him with Dragon Gate and thinking to myself "this guy if given the chance could be huge in the next 2 years!" he just has "it" in my eyes. he can go in the ring, he can cut really really great promo's. im very excited to see him on the main roster.

About the name: I think Dean Ambrose is a better, more fitting name than Jon Moxley. Just my two cents of course, but I don't get why people don't like the name. Then again, I also like Hero and Claudio's new names (though Hero's old name was definitely better).

The question is, is that going to help or hinder his career? Good point. It's like the e has something so good, what do they do with it? Wellsince this guy has piper written all over him, which is a great thing. Use pipers foundation in the wwf as a starting point. Id love to see ambrose smash a glass diet pepsi into punks head. Id love to see him smash a plate of vegan food into bryans skull. A modem day pipers pit. There's so many things they could do with him. I like the name and am also very excited to seeing him debut in the main roster. I hope he keeps the grunge look he has along with that wicked black jean shirt jacket. His feud with regal has been great. The chemistry the have is fanatic. I hope it spills over to nxt. I wonder if he will keep or change his finisher.

I wouldn't mind if he brought back the Crossface Chicken Wing as a finish.
That said, I've said this ever since I heard about his first WWE tryout way back when: The bastard son of Terry Funk. Give him THAT gimmick and let him run with it.

If this guy ever gets far in WWE, I really really really hope he gets to have a confrontation with Roddy Piper.

Dean could potentially become the success story they originally wanted with Brian Pillman before his untimely passing. He embodies a loose cannon so well.

i am at work and watched these vids on mute. And I did not enjoy this guy. Perhaps sound would change it? But what about walking around a gym shirtless with a beer is supposed to sell me?
