Because...GET IT! The guest host is James Roday of Psych and there's going to be BOTH a Rock concert and a Cena rap? I CRACK MYSELF UP!
But yeah, the main focus is the concerts that both Cena and Rock will hold. Yeah, this may not be pretty. When was the last time that Cena actually rapped in any form that wasn't a promo? And is all the Rock concert going to be is the nostalgia factor ramped up to 11 while he goes out there and ruins the legacy of one of his classic moments? Like I said, this sounds like a train wreck, which is sad after it seemed like last week finally turned a corner in me actually caring for this match.
Just thank god we got CM Punk and Chris Jericho feuding. Same goes with Sheamus and Daniel Bryan mixing it up on RAW. Since we've been getting Punk vs. Bryan over the past few weeks, should we get Sheamus vs. Jericho one week? I wouldn't mind that one bit.
And HBK will be back to speak with his long-time rival The Undertaker in the first meeting between the two since 2010. Sure the special guest referee has something to say to the Deadman.
There's also the thing with the RAW and SmackDown GM's duking it out for complete dominance. Whatever...just announce the match there and get it over with.
And as I said on the top, James Roday is guest hosting (finally crossing that off his bucket list, after not being able to guest host the last time with his Psych co-star, Dule Hill due to an appendectomy). All it's for though is to plug Wednesday's new episode, which will have The Miz on it, so expect something between the two. I was going to watch it nonetheless, because the show is awesome, but regardless.
Other things going on...Eve kissed Zack Ryder, so we'll get a continuation of that.
That's about it.

I'm not really looking forward to this rock concert. I've been waiting for this feud to get serious, I love the video packages they've played, but every time these two get in the ring and confront each other it's been a bit underwhelming. To hear them throw the same jabs at each other in music form just isn't something to look forward to to me. Besides we've already seen Cena rap to Rock, twice I think?
Granted, I think the segment where Steve Austin and the Rock serenading each other like a couple of psychopaths leading to their Wrestlemania match was one of the most surreal, amazing confrontations in the ring I've ever seen but I'm really skeptical that Cena/Rock find that magic with this concept. We'll see.

I was going to say something about the unusually high amount of snark from the OP, but he complimented Psych, and now I can't say anything.
Really looking forward to this Raw. Hopefully James Roday gets some good material.

This will either be an amazing episode, or the worst Raw of the year. No in-betweens.

Kind of in relation to James Roday hosting, I hope he will act like he wants to be there considering Dule Hill was awesome as the guest host imo. He looked so happy to be there, one of the better guest hosts they had.
I hope I can make it back in time tonight to catch this episode live. 1am start is going to be hard to get used to for the couple of weeks its going to be like that.

Roday has been known to be a pretty big wrestling fan actually, from interviews, and the little references on the show, so at least we'll have somebody having fun with it. On the other hand, the rest of the show may seem like a crapshoot. Lucky I DVR this thing. I could have this done in 20 minutes and have enough time to watch the remaining 3 episodes of Game of Thrones S1.

Hey kids! Gather round listen to the same promos that Rock and Cena have been cutting for the past year now, except in MUSIC FORM!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds that absurd.

Rock's Birthday, Occupy Raw, and Rock concert/Cena rap. There might be more. The one with Kane stalking everyone and the one with all of the video packages before Elimination Chamber are two more that I would put in that category.

Rock's Birthday, Occupy Raw, and Rock concert/Cena rap. There might be more. But those were all last year.

Rock's Birthday, Occupy Raw, and Rock concert/Cena rap. There might be more. Have I jumped forward in time? The third one listed hasn't happened yet, so how can you even know?

May just skip RAW tonight and catch it via DVR tomorrow. Don't know that I can take much more of this Rock/Cena stuff, let alone the insanity on here following it.
