www.lordkat.com/german-suplex.htmlWarning: Language. Apparently, LordKat (formerly of "Until We Win" on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses) had a false DMCA claim from TNA accusing his livestream of showing TNA PPV. He's had DMCA issues in the past (He was taken down for half a day for showing his downloading progress for LA Noire) which meant that JustinTV/TwitchTV almost indefinitely suspended his account. He's an entrepreneur and that account is essentially his job. So TNA almost got him "fired" in a way due to a fake accusation. Right now, the mistake has led to a 24 hour suspension that also caused his archived videos to be suspended meaning he has $0 coming in for the day. Thus...he's kind of angry. In all honestly, it feels to me as if he's lashing out because he's rather angry (and thus perhaps not the most rational) but it should be interesting in some way.

I watch quite a bit of LK's stream and am a Class B lurker in the chat room. He has never EVER showed any type of PPV stream at all whether it be TNA or WWE. (In fact he's been doing live DnD sessions with some of his friends on Sundays.) The fact that there is a takedown due to a nonexistant PPV stream is hilarious and facepalm worthy. TNA, if you want to go for illegal PPV streams, that's fine. However, don't be targeting streams that never did anything wrong in the first place. That's just wrong.

Can't follow the story, but from what I gather there was enough evidence to support whatever action was taken. None of us were/are privy to the information so making an educated opinion one way or the other is suspect. If he didn't do anything I understand his attitude. But if he did I have no sympathy. Streams are theft of service. There is little a content provider(in this case IW) can do to stop it. Technology is there that can get around it. SOPA is not the answer but something like it is. Again if he's innocent that sucks for him and I hope there is a compensation in the offing if he is.

The stream's 24 hour suspension is up. His theories on why TNA would've DMCA'd him:
1. He has a fan-drawn picture of Hulk Hogan staring at a Gorilla wearing a TNA shirt and saying "I think we're being watched, Brother." I assume that's some sort of in-joke?
2. One day, someone brought up TNA and he looked at their website and commented on a few things.
3. Nothing. The claim said that his stream 'rebroadcast TNA's PPV' which is ridiculously false. At the very most, he would watch the show and comment on it while doing so. In fact, he was a front-page suggestion during the Super Bowl for the commentary from LordKat and Friends. No footage shown, just commented.

Didn't he do an episode of Wrestle Wrestle once or am I thinking of another guy? Spoony was the main WW guy. Sean Fausz took over the WWE duties for a while until he just stopped posting out of laziness (which was for the best as he didn't really...know what he was talking about). The 2-D Gaming guy (Lee? I don't remember his name) did a few things on the site. Critical Marine did a couple UFC reviews. LordKat's contribution to WW was his football podcast "Turducken is Tasty" which was constantly complained about because "It's not wrestling!!" He also did a "First Impression" write up for his own site due to people asking him about wrestling. Uniquely enough, going blind into a TNA show during a period of pure insanity did not lead to a good first impression. That was the only TNA related work from him that I know of. Also, as a kind of update, on the stream today, he admitted he doubts this will lead to much, but he felt giving them info to complain to advertisers was a better use of his fanbase's rage (and trust me, his dedicated fans were livid) than spamming hateful messages on Twitter and sending Black Faxs (Fax a completely black page multiple times to eat up Fax Machine Ink).

I always wondered what happened to LordKat. I noticed a few months ago that there hadn't been a new Until We Win on TGWTG in ages. Why'd he stop doing those?

I always wondered what happened to LordKat. I noticed a few months ago that there hadn't been a new Until We Win on TGWTG in ages. Why'd he stop doing those? The stress of trying to beat a game a week wore him down. Along with the fact that he absolutely despised editing the videos together (If you notice in the last video he did, it was just plastered video from the game that usually didn't even line-up with what he was saying). The combination of hours and editing eventually seemed like too much to him, so he stopped the videos. Also, I think he wanted to just move into what he's doing now. He focuses on his livestream and does about 25 hours worth of podcasts (including ones on American Football, Technology, and Video Games) and talk related shows (The D&D for example). However, he does the occasional "Until We Win" on his stream where he'll play an old game for about two hours or so and then challenge the viewers to go onto Twitch.TV (so it'll be recorded) and try to beat his score. I think the highest score's prize ends up being a Steam game. He'll also play more current games (When Portal 2 came out, it became a semi-"Until We Win" cause he played it out on the stream.)
