There's always a lot of talk about what is the best WrestleMania or what's the worst, but which to you stands out as the most completely forgettable?
I think I tend to most blank on 11. Also for having just happened a few years ago, I can barely remember anything on the 24 card outside of the four main matches.
Figure 27 after a few years go by will probably fit the same criteria. I actually thought it was better than 26, but still, the best matches are what will be the middle of three different Taker / Triple H Mania matches and Cody / Mysterio, which while very good isn't really anything too memorable in itself. Plus its celebrity involvement was pretty half-assed, and said celebrity will probably be mostly forgotten in ten years anyway.
Also, 27 is the only one where no titles changed hands, so... Yeah, it has that against it being memorable down the line too.

Some of the early WrestleManias tend to have this problem, but moreso for the age difference between fans.
However, I do have to vouch for WrestleMania 2000 (WrestleMania XVI). If it wasn't for the triangle ladder match, the whole event was a real bore. Though, cases can also be made for WrestleMania XI, which had Diesel as WWF Champion PLUS Lawrence Taylor/Bam Bam Bigelow as the main event, and WrestleMania IV, with it's bizarre tournament.

A lot of recent WrestleManias seem to just blend together for me. Maybe it's because I'm not the same kid in their teens watching every video up until the day of the big event, or watching it numerous times because it was so awesome. Only thing I can even remember about 23 was Kane slamming Great Khali. And how they equate that with Hogan slamming Andre.
Really?
(Think this was also the same show where Mr. Kennedy won MITB. And I had to look that up.)

27 was entirely inconsequential. Between the Saturday before and Raw the following Monday, nothing had changed.

WrestleMania 24. Aside from the Mayweather/Big Show match and Ric Flair retiring, I know nothing much about it.

WrestleMania 16. It was the first PPV I ever saw, but I don't remember much about the entire show. All I remember is the end of the main event where Stephanie gets Rock Bottomed. Other than that, the show was a blur.

It's 11. At least 9 had the roman theme and 16 had the ladder match

11 far and away. Wouldn't even be good as an expanded version of RAW, from BACK THEN!

I've seen them all, and I honestly couldn't tell you what happened on Wrestlemania V other than Hogan/Savage and the Piper skit. Saying that, I don't remember it being particularly terrible or anything, unlike say 11 or 25.

Easily 11, closely followed by 22 and 23. I'd also like to say that I think 24 is severely underrated. It's one of my favorites.

The most forgettable for me is WrestleMania 13. I'm not saying it had the worst matches, but I just can't remember the card as easily as I can others.

11 although terrible, is not forgettable there is a difference. how could you forget LT in the main event? 13 takes this for me, with 27 probably taking its place in a few years

11 for me. To me, it was mainly a celebrity lovefest. Taylor-Bigelow was surprisingly good, but man did that send Bigelow's career into the shitter.

I would say WrestleMania XI. If not for LT vs. Bam Bam, it wouldn't be brought up that much.

Hell, the main way I remember Rumble wins is through the Mania matches that followed, and yet I almost always in thinking about past Rumbles have to stop and remind myself that Michaels won it from number one for his match at 11, not 12.

Yeah, definitely XI.
Did anything famous or groundbreaking happen there?

WM 16. While WM 11 was horrible, and probably the worst 'Mania quality wise, it was at least memorably bad. The worst thing I can say about WM 16 is that I ONLY really remember the Hardcore Battle Royal.

I really don't think that history will be kind to Wrestlemania 27. I remember how pissed I was after the show was over, not because it was a bad show, but because it was nothing more than an infomercial for Wrestlemania 28:
-The end of the show planted the seed for The Rock vs John Cena the following year (which was made official the next night on Raw).
-The Undertaker vs Triple H was a good match but I really dislike the fact that as soon as Taker was carried out, you just knew that there had to be a rematch - next year!
-This wasn't planned, but still: I was really looking forward for Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus. I'm a huge fan of both guys; I had to wait until Wrestlemania 28 to see it.
Nothing on the Wrestlemania 27 card really stands alone and once Wrestlemania 28 is in the history books, 27 will be nothing but a footnote in Wrestlemania history.
