well, the second to last match should probably be a throwaway match to let the crowd get ready for the main event. So no.

You know what, I would LOVE for Punk/Jericho to be second to last. Put on the best damn match you possibly can and kill the crowd dead for Rock/Cena.
That'll show them!

You essentially have 4 main events and 8 matches on the show. You're not going to do any of these as the 2nd or 3rd match so you only have six slots to fill them. I say 1st, 5th, 6th, and 8th

I think they should throw a curveball and make the match no-holds-barred and let it close. I truly and honestly believe that CM Punk and Chris Jericho, given 20-30 minutes in a brutal environment could get the crowd out of their seats after Rock/Cena. I really do.
Also, I really hate how little attention the flipping WWE Title has been given leading into WrestleMania.

Not gonna happen when the PPV after WM is Extreme Rules IN Punk's hometown. Not having a match like that then is criminal.

I don't think it's bad, I think that's what they are going to do. Like it or not, Taker/HHH and Rock/Cena is what people want to see and are quite possibly bigger then the title.

That's how the card will probably be booked:
Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus Team Johnny vs Team Teddy Cody Rhodes vs Big Show Triple H vs Undertaker Kane vs Randy Orton CM Punk vs Chris Jericho Beth Phoenix & Eve vs Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly John Cena vs The Rock

I say 1st, 5th, 6th, and 8th Id actually go 2nd/3rd WHC match 4th/5thWWE title match 6th HIAC 8th Rock v cena They could do the wwe championship straight into the HIAC, as the video package and then cell lowering will provide a time break, all the matches will almost certainly need a filler break in between be it a match or hall of fame inductions

Otherwise perfect set up

They had a pole on WWE.com for a day that asked which match were you looking forward t most at WM, and Taker/HHH finished 3rd(Rock/Cena was #1, Jericho/Punk #2, and D-bry/Sheamus 4th). The pole was gone with in a day Their own audience is not THAT excited about HHH/Taker. I guess doing the same match, at the same card is stale, who knew(EVERYONE).Taker does not have the same momentum, as he did even just a year ago. Outside the main event(Rock/Cena) the crowd will be most excited for the first match, so it should be Jericho/Punk. The term "curtin jerikin" means nothing anymore. In the Hogan days, HE was the stand alone star. Now a days they have 2 World Titles, and 10 main eventers.

I hope it opens the show myself. Same here. That way they'd have more time. And the crowd's guaranteed to be hot for the opener.

A poll is one thing, but then there's the fact that Triple H / Taker is pretty consistently the storyline bringing in the most viewers, depending on where Rock and Cena fall in a given show but usually unless that's in the overrun trumping it. That matters for more.

They should be glad the title with the potentially longer term main eventers is next highest

Bad booking imo, crowd would be deflated and stuff for the main event (even if it IS Cena vs the Rock) I wouldnt take the chance, make some match no one gives a damn about go on 2nd last so everyone has their energy left.
