I was watching the Team DX/Team RKO match from 2006 on Youtube a few minutes ago, and it got me wondering, what are some of your favorite Survivor Series Elimination matches?

I love Survivor Series matches. There are so many that I would consider my favorites
Mega Powers Team vs. Twin Towers Team in 1988, Total Chaos and manager shenanigans that made you want more
All Americans vs. Foreign Fanatics in 1993, just a fun match I've always loved. Undertaker and Yokozuna go at it for 2 minutes and it's gold
Team WWE vs. Team Alliance, even if the angle wasn't like people wanted it, this match feels epic from bell to bell
Same for Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff in 2003. That type of feud with those stakes are built for Survivor Series

Flair/Mountie/Dibiase/Warlord .vs. Piper/Hart/Virgil/Davey Boy Smith from 1991.
I just HATE the double DQ ending.

Both the tag team elimination matches from the first two events are excellent. The Wildcard match from 1995 is good. I really like The Godwinns, Furnas and LaFon vs The Bulldog, Owen Hart and The New Rockers from 1996.

1987 - The Killer Bees, The Young Stallions, The British Bulldogs, Strike Force & The Fabulous Rougeaus vs. The Islanders, The Hart Foundation, The New Dream Team, Demolition & The Bolsheviks
1988 - The Powers of Pain, The British Bulldogs, The Rockers, The Hart Foundation & The Young Stallions vs. The Conquistadors, Demolition, The Brain Busters, The Bolsheviks & The Fabulous Rougeaus
1995 - Wild Card Match: Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson, The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith & Sycho Sid vs. Yokozuna, Razor Ramon, Owen Hart & Dean Douglas
2001 - Winner Take All Match: Team WWF (The Rock, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Kane & The Big Show) vs. Team Alliance (Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T & Shane McMahon)
There's a big drop off after those four SS elimination matches. Not saying there aren't any other good ones, but those four are my favorites and I feel stand head and shoulders above the rest.

Pretty much all of them from 87 through 90 were great matches that were fun to watch. The elimination concept I felt started to go down hill in 91 thanks to half assed booking. I never understood why they didn't just have Savage replace Sid instead of doing that lame 3 on 3 match. I also hated that bs dq finish to the Flair match.
My favorite of all time would have to be the Austin/Bischoff match in 03. It got a lot of time and I loved the way it was booked, with HBK fighting back from the 3 to 1 odd before coming up just short.

Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff. Such an unexpectedly epic ending sequence when it comes down to Michaels vs. Christian/Orton.

I also hated that bs dq finish to the Flair match. because they thought they had a good story going with Roberts and Savage, they were trying to promote Tuesday in Texas and they wanted that to be their first encounter Yeah that's probaly true. They still could've had Jake avoid Savage the whole match (ala Jake and Martel the year before) then do a double count out where Savage chases him to the back with a chair or something. It would've been a hell of a lot better then the dull uninteresting six man match that they ended up doing. Heel Jake was such an awesome character. The match lost all it's interest and heat with him not involved as IRS and the Natural Disasters were a pretty vanilla group of heels. The promos and buildup were real good (thanks mainly to Jake) which makes it even more of a bummer. It's too bad Sid got hurt because the original planned match looked so great on paper. It still could've been great if they just had Savage replace him. Off topic but does anyone know if they ever explained why Earthquake was on Jake's team or was it just the typical case of there just both bad guys now so now there cool. I always found it odd that Jake would have him on his team after he had killed his pet snake only six months earlier.

A lot of my faves have been mentioned already, but I'll give a nod to Team Orton vs. Team Kofi from 2009 as being a fun one.

Team Smackdown vs. Team Raw, it was either '05 or '06, when Batista was world champion and Styles was the Raw play-by-play guy.
It was booked amazingly. Each side was invading the other's show and doing dastardly heelish things, it was brilliant, back when the brands actually seemed separate.
Plus, and I say this every time, they booked Big Show the way he should always be booked - he took about five finishers to finally get pinned and JBL sold him with real terror. That's how you book a monster.

Gonna put in a shout for my favourite match, The Hulkamaniacs vs The Million Dollar Team, Zeus of all people looks like a killer, Hogan sells his beatings like death, Jesse Ventura's commentary is golden, especially once 3/4 of Dibiase's team has been DQ'd.

- Wild Card Match: Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson, The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith & Sycho Sid vs. Yokozuna, Razor Ramon, Owen Hart & Dean Douglas I loved the concept of the Wild Card match as a kid when that happened. After seeing that I was forever booking them with my wrestling toys - the best one I remember being during a Hart Foundation v. nWo feud - I was such a cool kid I was disappointed they didn't continue the concept in subsequent Survivor Series'.

Rock's debut in 96 was great, excellent way to push a new guy.
Also Lafon/Furnas/Godwins vs Bulldog/Owen/New Rockers from that same year was sweet.
Wildcard match from 95 was excellent.
