XIX by far.
Despite this, most people will pick X-Seven.

17 is and will always be (bar a massive wrestling revival) the best built card in history. Despite that fact, most people will go with 19 because that has been the IWC's favourite WM for about a year now so...

I went with 8 - sentimental as it was my first, but also the two absolute stand-out classics of Piper v. Hart and Flair v. Savage carry the show on their own. Throw-in the end of Jake the Snake and (at the time) Hogan, plus the return of the Ultimate Warrior then it has its place in history. I think allowing for the time I happened it stands up well against the later stand-out events like 17.

XIX has better in ring work and more "show stealing" matches but X7 is the best show ever, IMO.

I've said it before. I think as great as 17 and 19 are, 14 felt like the most complete Wrestlemania. For that, I give the nod to 14.
If you said 17 or 19 I wouldn't argue with you in the slightest.

Awesome set, amazingly produced (the video packages were unreal), Jericho vs HBK, Rock vs Austin III, Hogan vs Vince, and Brock vs Angle.

In this order:
#1 - 17 #2 - 14 #3 - 3
Agreed with whoever said 14 feels like the most complete Wrestlemania. As someone who really began intently watching in April of '96 and had his first Mania be that lackluster dreck the following year, 14 almost feels like it had two years of build. It's a perfect show.
I wasn't watching at the time when 17 was being built so I've only seen it in the vacuum of its own merits and I love it.
3 has every type of wrestling match/sports entertainment you could ask for carried out to perfection. It's a collection of tropes executed in the most engaging way possible in front of an amazing crowd. The more I read about the build-up to it, the more impressed I get.
Honestly, 19 suffers from too many flaws. I get why people love it, but the booking is flatout wrong for a good chunk of that show. I know the common thought now is that if your sole enjoyment in a wrestling match depends on who wins/loses you're watching for the wrong reasons, but if there's one exception it absolutely has to be the HEEL going over CLEAN in a RACE ANGLE.
Plus JR and Lawler here are the 3rd worst Mania commentary performance in history (the random celebrities in 2 are second, and without hyperbole JR and Lawler at WM20 the following year are THE worst. For as much as we complain about Cole/Lawler now, no regular team was as bad as when Lawler and JR were running on fumes in 2004), WGTT emerging over the returning Benoit/Rhyno robbed us of a great Mania moment for no reason, Jazz should have been nowhere near the women's match, the built for MONTHS match between RVD/Kane and Storm/Regal was bumped for the Miller Catfight Girls, Fabolous no-showed the rap battle with Cena (Which, given where both were at the time, would have been entertaining) etc.
Granted, those are all personal preferences, and perhaps I'm having a hard time divorcing the show from the wretched booking preceding and following it (although the last time we had this discussion, someone made the excellent point that it's a testament to the show's quality that it overcame months and months of terrible booking to be a great show) and while I'd never begrudge someone for calling it their favorite, I don't know if it would crack my top 5.

Everytime when this question arises its always a battle between 17 and 19 which I also see as the 2 best Wrestlemanias.
Already two voted for WM 27... are you serious, bro?!

17 & 19 are both good shouts.
What's frustrating is that this years had the potential to be the best ever; but that damn first hour. If they gave Sheamus/Bryan at least 10-15 mins, and cut time on Orton/Kane & Divas skidmarks match....it could have easily been one of the best ever.

Has to be 17 for me. Haven't seen the full show of Mania 19 but I'll give it second place, and Mania 24 in third.

Two votes for 27 and only one for 24. It's stuff like this that makes me hate polls here.

I voted 28 simply because I was there in the fourth row which totally makes it a no brainer for me. Plus it had three outstanding matches in Rock v Cena, Jericho v Punk and the classic Triple H v Undertaker.
Other really good manias:
8 - this was the first one I saw and Bret v Piper and Savage v Flair are classics. 14 - outstanding build and landmark mania 17 - brilliant show let down by the ending 19 - brilliant show also let down a bit by the ending 24 - best money in the bank, Flair v HBK, Taker v Edge, Cena v Orton v Triple H
